Are you looking for a special night out? Look no further than the Spotted Dog Cafe in the cute little town of Springdale. Reservations are still available for the 6th annual Beaujolair Nouveau Festival being held on Saturday, Nov. 22.

What could be better than a celebration of fine food and wine in Zion Canyon? Come and be a part of an authentic celebration and tribute to Les Sarmentelles; the celebration marking the countdown to tapping the casks of the light, fruity red wine made from the Gamay grape in the Rhone-Alps town of Beaujeu, the birthplace of the famous vintage – as well as a commemoration of the first release of the 2014 French Beaujolais.

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a welcome ceremony that includes cassis and white wine cocktails and tray-passed hors d’ oeuvres. The gala event will feature a six-course dinner with wine. The evening’s highlights will include the oath of the new “Compagnon’s du Beaujolais.”

This is a reserved seating event with limited tickets. Admission is $55 with dinner only, or $75 for dinner with wine. To make a reservation, call (435) 772-0700 or (435) 772-3244. The Spotted Dog Café is located at 428 Zion Park Blvd. in Springdale, inside Flanigan’s Inn.

Additionally, if you just don’t feel like cooking but want a great Thanksgiving meal on the famous holiday, Flanigan’s will hold their traditional Thanksgiving all-you-can-eat feast on Thursday, Nov. 27 from noon to 8 p.m. The hearty meal features oven-roasted turkey with cranberry chutney and sage stuffing, mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, mixed green salad, fruit ambrosia, and much more. Yum! Adults cost $24.95, kids age 12 or under cost $12.95, and kids age 5 or under are free. Ditch the kitchen and enjoy an unforgettable Thanksgiving meal with your family.
