Cedar City Council DebateOn Thursday, Oct. 22, Cedar City Council candidates will debate current issues facing Cedar City. The debate will occur in the ballroom of SUU’s Sharwan Smith Student Center. It will begin with a meet-and-greet session with the candidates at 6:30 p.m., and the one-hour debate will begin at 7 p.m. The purpose of the debate is to educate and inform the citizens of Cedar City about these candidates and their views on salient local issues.

The Cedar City Council candidates are John Black, Paul Cozzens, Kip Hansen, Terri Hartley, Craig Isom, and Don Marchant. The debate will be moderated by student executive council members in the Michael O. Leavitt Center for Politics and Public Service. All community members are invited to attend.
