Cedar City meditation classesMeditation classes at The Healing Tree in Cedar City will resume Jan. 7 and continue through Jan. 21 on Thursday evenings from 7 to 8 p.m. Participants will be introduced to a variety of meditation approaches designed to increase awareness and foster a calm mind. No previous meditation experience is required. Everyone is welcome.

This 3-week session of meditation classes will explore a variety of approaches to mediation. The topic schedule is as follows:

—Jan. 7: Hearing meditation

—Jan. 14: Touch/body sensation meditation

—Jan. 21: Metta/lovingkindness meditation

In the spirit of sharing meditation instruction, contributions toward the classes will be by donation. If you would like to make a gift, the suggested donation is $5 per class.
