Dixie Forum hosts Utah Shakespeare Festival panelA panel of actors and artists from the Utah Shakespeare Festival will present at the next Dixie Forum from noon to 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, at the Dunford Auditorium in the Browning Resource Center on the DSU campus. The event is free and open to the public.

The speakers will discuss their particular job functions at the festival as well as the Utah Shakespeare Festival in general. The festival presents classic and contemporary plays in repertory with Shakespeare as its cornerstone. Plays are complemented by interactive festival experiences.

Dixie Forum is a weekly lecture series designed to introduce the St. George and DSU communities to diverse ideas and personalities while widening their worldviews via a 50-minute presentation. Next, Dixie Forum will host Dr. Cari Buckner, a Dixie State associate professor of education, as she presents about brain development in young children at noon Sept. 19.
