CasaBlanca Resort will host Elvis Rocks Mesquite June 16 and 17 in the CasaBlanca Showroom at CasaBlanca Resort. Hosted by Kelly Clinton-Holmes, the annual event draws contestants from throughout the country dressed in Elvis’ best stage fashion according to the era represented.
A meet and greet will be held June 15 at 7 p.m. The event consists of three preliminary rounds. The ‘50s preliminary round begins June 16 at 2 p.m. followed by the ‘60s round at 7 p.m. and the ‘70s round at 2 p.m. June 17. Finalists from each preliminary round will move into the final round at 8 p.m. A total of $10,000 in prize money will be awarded. All contestants will also receive three complimentary nights at the CasaBlanca Resort. Last year’s winner was Travis Allen of Las Vegas.
