Local favorite Eric Dodge will play a concert at the O.C. Tanner Amphitheater in Springdale on Saturday, May 30. The show begins at 8 p.m. with another favorite, the John Houston Gospel Choir. In addition to the performance, for the rest of May, Dodge is offering a “buy one, get one free” deal on his gospel Hymn CD, “Never Walk Alone.”

Dodge has released eight albums since starting his music career. His album “Why Not Today” became a huge international success and has sold all over the world in over 15 countries, topping the Amazon.com best-selling albums list. His album “A Christmas Wish” sold thousands worldwide in its first season released. Dodge has been featured in Country Weekly magazine and on KUTV 2 News at Noon and Good Things Utah. He has shared the stage with many of country music’s biggest names, including Clint Black, Lorrie Morgan, Pam Tillis, SheDaisy, Julianne Hough, John Michael Montgomery, Justin Moore, Collin Raye, Chris Ledoux, Diamond Rio, Terri Clark, Travis Tritt, and Carrie Underwood.

During the month of May, Dodge is selling his gospel Hymn CD, “Never Walk Alone,” at the reduced rate of “buy one, get one free,” including shipping.

“Get one free to give away to anyone to help brighten their day,” Dodge said in a press release. “Help us help others by sharing hope and love through music.”

Both Eric Dodge and the John Houston Gospel Choir will also perform at Live United LIVE on Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the St. George Town Square. One hundred percent of event proceeds will be directed to the charities supported by United Way Dixie.

“Eric Dodge and the John Houston Gospel Choir never fail to bring a crowd to their feet,” said Live United LIVE Program Director Jeffrey Hall. “They’ll be huge assets in our fundraiser for United Way Dixie. Since both appear in Southern Utah only a few times each year, we’re thrilled that they’re making time to perform for us at our benefit music festival.”

Tickets for the concert at the O.C. Tanner Amphitheater are $15 for adults and $6 for kids. Only cash is accepted at the door. Tickets can also be purchased online in advance of the show at www.dixie.edu/tanner.
