Coming April 8 to the Hurricane Fine Arts Center is the Hurricane Valley Theatrical Company’s musical adaptation of “Little Women.” The musical will run Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7 p.m. with 2 p.m. Saturday matinees April 8 through May 2.

Based on Louisa May Alcott’s life, “Little Women” follows the adventures of sisters Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy March and their experience growing up in Civil War America. “Little Women” — with book by Allan Knee, lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, and music by Jason Howland — has been praised by critics. Alcott’s narrative of personal discovery, heartache, hope, and everlasting love is brought to life onstage.

The cast is under the direction of Kyle Myrick with musical direction of Brodie Perry. Sammy Myrick and Malory Myers are double-cast in the lead role of Jo March. Other lead roles are played by Jadon Webster, Nate Myers, Lori Myers, and Marlo Rawlings.

Tickets are $8 and can be purchased online at hurricanetheatrical.org.
