Southern Utah Adoptable Pets: Ivins Animal Shelter

The Ivins Animal Shelter and Adoption Center is located at 474 N 200 W in Ivins.The shelter’s hours are Mondays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesdays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please call Aggie at (435) 669-7043 or Friends of Ivins Animal Shelter at (435) 628-1049 for more information or to make an appointment.

Friends of Ivins Animal Shelter is sponsoring a “Fall in love with your new BFF” adoption promotion during October. All adoption fees are reduced or waived during October. The adoption fee for dogs is $25, and cats’ and kittens’ adoption fees will be waived to approved adopters.

Whiskers

Whiskers has been in the shelter since September of last year and desperately needs to find a forever home. Because Whiskers has been in the shelter so long, he will need an understanding family who will give him time and space to feel loved and safe in a new environment. Whiskers would be a fantastic BFF for a couple or single person. Please open your heart and home to Whiskers today. He is counting on you to rescue him.

Maizie

Maizie has been in the shelter for over a year and needs to find a forever home as soon as possible. Maizie needs to find a loving couple or single person who will love her and give her comfort and care during her senior years. The shelter is very hard for the older cats, and she is counting on you to rescue her today!

 

Cricket

Cricket really enjoys sitting on laps and hanging out with the people she loves. Even in the shelter her sweet personality comes out. Cricket would make a great companion for a single person, a couple or she would be a good fit for a family. Cricket is looking forward to meeting you because she knows if you give her a chance you will fall in love with her.

 

Sid

southern utah adoptable pets features: sidSid is a handsome young guy. He is only 6 months old. He is a tuxedo mix. Sid is the perfect age for a family. He has a great personality and is playful. Sid had been in the shelter approximately three months and would really like to find his forever home as soon as possible. Fall is the perfect time to open your heart and home to a homeless pet. Just look at Sid’s face and you can’t help but fall in love with him. Sid is looking forward to meeting you as soon as possible.

Olivia

Labs make a great family pet and Olivia is no exception; she is very sweet and playful. Olivia is still in the puppy stage of her life which is perfect for training. She would like to find a forever home with an active family who loves the outdoors. She is an indoor dog but would like a home with a fenced yard so she can enjoy playing outdoors and be safe at the same time. Olivia is waiting on you to give her a forever home during this beautiful fall season.

The City of Mesquite Animal Shelter is located at 795 Hardy Way and is open for adoptions from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Mondays through Saturdays and from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sundays. Dino

southern utah adoptable pets: dino-2Dino was found as a stray. He was staying around a man’s garage for weeks. He is a very shy gentleman and doesn’t understand what is happening in his life. He is calm and easy to handle but not used to being held. He loves being petted. He is coming out of his shell and will need a quiet home.

 

 

Luna

southern utah adoptable pets: luna-1Luna is a part of a family of eight that was turned into the shelter because the owner could no longer care for them. She is a very friendly and loving cat. She likes people and will come when called and enjoys receiving attention. She is a very beautiful cat with soft gray/white long hair.
