Chipsouthern utah adoptable pets Chip

Chip is such an adorable puppy. He was born in July 2018 and was found as a stray. All Best Friends puppies are already spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and infused with extra love and cuddles. As all puppies do Chip will need to be taught all those good things that puppies need to learn in order to grow up to be adult dogs. A puppy is a project but there’s nothing this little one would love more than to grow right up into your family.

Rellasouthern utah adoptable pets Rella

Rella has a gorgeous coat and endearing eyes. She is shy at first, but she will make you feel very special when you earn her trust. Although she was born in 2008, she is just learning how to enjoy walks and is discovering new things in the world around her. Rella came to Best Friends from a shelter that was closing and may never have had a home of her own. She is looking for a home with someone who has the time and patience to guide her. She would also appreciate the company of a kind dog who can show her the ropes in a new home. Rella has a generous sponsor who will cover her adoption fee.

Deltasouthern utah adoptable pets Delta

If you want a jogging buddy or hiking companion, Delta is your girl. She is always up for an adventure and loves to get out and explore with her people. Besides her endless energy, she is also very smart and a fast learner. Delta really enjoys clicker training and agility and would love to find an active home where she could learn new things. If you can tire her out, she then likes pets and affection. Born in 2017, Delta came to the Sanctuary from a Best Friends Network Partner. She is reactive to other dogs and would need to be an only dog in a home. She can be hard to handle when she sees other dogs, and she has redirected on a person while walking by another dog, but she did not break the skin. She also has a high prey drive, so she should not be around small animals, and she will guard her toys. Delta is the kind of dog who will thrive with an active and dog savvy person. In the right situation, she will make a wonderful companion.

Lorettasouthern utah adoptable pets Loretta

Loretta is declawed on her front paws. There are bone fragments and they give her medication for pain. It makes her grumpy around other cats and she can get hissy if they come too close. Bellesouthern utah adoptable pets BELLE

Belle is a beautiful, sweet, active and typical hound dog. She gets along well with people and dogs of all sizes but might chase cats and other small animals. They are told she is housebroken. They think she’s approximately two years old and, like all youngsters, can be absolutely wonderful and a little bit naughty all at the same time. Belle is proud of her athletic skill at the high jump and will require a 6-foot fence. Belle is not spayed yet but BAM is taking applications on her and would consider a foster-to-adopt home for her so she can get settled in her new family as soon as possible. She did ask Santa for a family for Christmas. To meet Belle, call (435) 773-5209.

Aladdinsouthern utah adoptable pets ALADDIN

Triosouthern utah adoptable pets TRIO

Trio is approximately 5 years old. She is a sweet German Shepherd blend who is really a relaxed, happy dog. She likes walks, car rides, stuffed toys, bones, and people. She’s a typical GSD and can be aloof until she gets to know you. She was seen being put out of a car in California and tied to a pipe. The car drove away and did not return even though folks waited for hours for them. Trio was taken to a shelter where, because of her crippled leg and because the shelter staff said she was a senior, she was facing death. BAM pulled her and they got her to a vet. X-rays revealed no break in her leg but an old injury that caused nerve damage and now she is unable to use her left leg much and is unable to straighten it out. The vet determined amputation would not be necessary. Trio is a gorgeous, well-behaved (except for pulling a bit on the leash which can be easily corrected with training) dog. They have not seen her with children but she has not demonstrated any behavior that would cause them concern around respectful children. To meet her call J at (435) 773-5209. Her adoption fee is $125.

Louiesouthern utah adoptable pets LOUIE

Louie needs a family that will love and cares for him in spite of his dementia and special needs. He has stage II Kidney failure and requires a special diet. Louie enjoys being held and sitting beside you on a couch. Louie is neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated and meets BAM’s Senior to Senior program requirements. Are you a family that is willing to give love and be loved even if it is time limited? If so, call (435) 773-5209.
