Poor JD lost his home when his person passed away. But the sweet senior soon found his way to an animal rescue group and then to Best Friends. This friendly boy loves cuddling up with his people. And with his beautiful coloring and his adorable underbite, how could anyone resist? Born in 2008, JD eats soft, mashed foods because of dental disease. He’ll need to go home with a person who has quick reflexes and a watchful eye, because he will dash out a door and run off, just for fun. JD gets along well with other small dogs and would be happy to share a couch or a lap. Do you have room for this adorable, snuggly boy?
Looking for a handsome senior? Dante was born in 2004 and had a rough beginning in life. But he still trusts people and enjoys their company. He is on medication for chronic ear issues. Dante would love to find a calm, quiet home where he can go for short walks and take naps in the sun. If you have got a spot on your couch or a comfy dog bed for Dante to curl up on, he would love to meet you.
Angel is doing her very best to grow into her name. Born in 2015, she still has lots to learn and is excited about life. She is working on her manners at the sanctuary and is very smart and willing to please. Angel is sweet and loves the company of people and other dogs. She would do great in an active home with a playful doggie pal and no cats. Could you be the one to give Angel her very own forever home? Angel has a generous sponsor who will cover her adoption costs.
Yuma is a joy to have around. She gets really excited to meet people (her second favorite thing behind toys). But she’s been learning that it’s much more polite to lie down and wait for people to come down to her than to jump up and greet them. Politeness gets you lots of tummy rubs and back scratches, and that’s all Yuma wants in life (and maybe a few appropriate toys). Born in 2008, Yuma is bright and healthy but has some sensitivity to the sun. She doesn’t do well with other dogs and is looking to be your one and only. She is very gentle and calm in a home setting. She knows tons of cool tricks and is always ready for something new! As part of the single pets adoption special (single pets that do best as the only pet in the home), Yuma qualifies for free adoption and a free flight to her new home!
Fluff is quite timid, but she does enjoy being petted. She is very cautious when it comes to any change in her environment. She is fine with other cats. Born in 2015, she came from a rescue group in Arizona. Fluff has feline immunodeficiency virus, but she can still live a long and happy life. She can even live with cats who don’t have the virus because it’s only spread via deep bite wounds. Although Fluff is shy, she is not afraid to show her affectionate side once she’s comfortable. We envision her being very loving in a calm, low-stress home.
Gilmore is apprehensive with new people, but she wants to trust you, so approach her slowly. Once she is comfortable, she loves getting pets and tummy rubs. She does fine with other cats. Born in 2012, she came from a shelter in northern Utah. Gilmore can be nervous in new situations, and it would take her a bit to adjust to a new home. She may hide for a bit. A quiet, calm environment would be best for her, preferably with at least one other friendly cat who can help her adjust.
Rain can be hesitant with new people, but it doesn’t take her long to warm up. She’s really very sweet, and you can pet her when you earn her trust. Although she does fine with other cats, she prefers her own company. Born in 2011, Rain came from a shelter in northern Utah. She is a beautiful girl who would love to have a person to call her own. It may take her some time to adjust to a new home, but once she does she will be the sweetest, most perfect companion

Stir Fry is a 4-year-old terrier mix of medium build at 35 lbs. She has the terrier smarts and can be trained to do anything. She walks well on a leash, loves to learn, adores human affection, and loves to play. She plays well with the same size or smaller dogs but prefers not to be around larger alpha dogs. PAWS has cat tested her, and she did very well. She would make a great family pet with kids as she loves to play, walk, run, and hike. Ask her to go for a car ride and she is so happy. Her adoption fee is $125.

Baley, a German Shepherd in a Chihuahua body, ended up at a local shelter after his owner died, and there was no one to take care of him. He is a happy little guy who just wants a lap to sit on, a warm bed, some walks and car rides, and of course food and water. BAM does know that he shared a kennel space with another dog and is good with them, but they don’t know about cats or children. Toddlers probably shouldn’t be in the picture since he was in an adult-only home before, but older, respectful children would probably be fine. Baley is ready to go to a new family immediately. His adoption fee is $125. To meet Baley or find out more about him contact Aggie (435) 773-1667 or Sue at (801) 554-3378.
Petey is a 1.5-year-old, energetic, and happy pup. He weighs about 65 pounds and gets along very well with other big dogs. He still has that puppy energy and would benefit from an active family with a big yard and/or dog park visits. He walks well on a leash and would make a loving companion for a walker, runner, or hiker. Petey didn’t have the best of beginnings and hasn’t had much training or attention, but it hasn’t affected his love of others. Petey is enjoying his time at the BAM Center but has a heart just waiting for the right family to love. His adoption fee is $125. To meet Petey or find out more about him, contact Aggie (435) 773-1667 or Sue at (801) 554-3378.
