The City of Mesquite Animal Shelter is located at 795 Hardy Way and is open for adoptions from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Mondays through Saturdays and from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sundays. Please call (702) 346-7415 during these hours to speak to the front desk, or visit mesquiteanimalshelter.petfinder.com. Animal Control may be reached by phone or voicemail at (702) 346-5268. Buddy

southern utah adoptable pets: Buddy City of Mesquite Animal Shelter Buddy’s owner could no longer keep him. He is 3 years old and has never had a stable home life. He isn’t sure what is expected of him. He loves people and being close to you but isn’t sure about sharing his home with another dog. He knows basic commands like “sit” and is learning to play with toys. He is learning to respond to his name, too! He behaves well on leash, but he is a strong boy and doesn’t know his strength.

 

Ivy

southern utah adoptable pets: Ivy-3 copy City of Mesquite Animal ShelterIvy purrs all the time and is a very gentle and laid-back cat. She loves people and receiving attention. We have noticed that she isn’t that willing to share her space with another cat.

 

 

 

 

Spirit

Elton

The Independent Southern Utah Adoptable Pets: Elton City of Mesquite Animal ShelterElton was also found as a stray. He had a home once as he is already neutered. He is very friendly and inquisitive and loves attention. He does not like other cats.

southern utah adoptable pets: MorrisMorris is a 6-year-old male who is very sweet and friendly and gets along with other cats. Morris was surrendered by his owner to the city shelter. We don’t know why. He is litter-box trained, neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations.

 

 

 

Sadie

southern utah adoptable pets: SadieSadie is a 10-year-old female who was surrendered by her owner to a Las Vegas shelter. Sadie is a very nice cat with a mellow personality. She is not a lap cat but likes to get head and chin scratches. She is litter-box trained, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations.

 

 

Jules

southern utah adoptable pets: JulesJules is a 1-year-old female who came to PAWS pregnant and had five kittens. She has raised her kittens and is ready to be adopted. She is very playful and gets along with other cats. Jules is a beautiful girl and will make a great pet for some lucky person. Come into PAWS and meet her soon! She is litter-box trained, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations.

 

 

Grover

southern utah adoptable pets: GroverGrover is a 9- or 10-year-old Chiweenie. He is great with dogs, cats, and children. Grover came to PAWS from a high-kill shelter in California. He is such a sweet boy and will make someone a great companion. Come meet him soon!

She is a little shy and sad to be in the shelter without her sister. Tasha is a beautiful Siamese mix with light coloring. Her hair is short. The only home Tasha has ever known is the shelter. Tasha wants to find a family and a forever home as soon as possible. Please open your heart and home to this loving kitten.

Levi

southern utah adoptable pets: LEVI 8-17-16Levi is a handsome tri-color Hound mix. To know a hound is to love a hound. They are a special breed. Just look at that face and you will understand. He has a great personality and gets along well with other dogs large and small as well as kids. Levi is approximately 10 months old as of 8-17-16 and he is almost out of the puppy stage of his life. He is a big boy weighing 70 pounds. Levi would like to find an active family who loves the outdoors. He is an inside dog but needs a fenced yard so he can play and enjoy the outdoors in complete safety. Levi is waiting on YOU to rescue him and be his new BFF.

Sadie

southern utah adoptable pets: SADIE 8-17-16 Sadie is a beautiful Lab/Shepherd mix. She is approximately 12 weeks old as of 8-17-16 and even now it is clear she is going to be a big girl. Sadie has a great personality and would make a great addition to your family. At her young age, she was sadly found abandoned. Sadie will need patience and training because she is still in the puppy stage of her life. Because of her breed she would like to find a family who is active and loves the outdoors. While Sadie is an indoor dog, she would like to find a home with a fenced yard so she can enjoy the outdoors in safety.
