The Little Hollywood half marathon will be held in Kanab Aug. 20 at 6 a.m. The course begins on U.S. Route 89 north of Kanab and ends at the Levi Stewart Memorial in Kanab. Runners will go through some of Southern Utah’s most pristine scenery with a 1,000 foot drop in elevation and temperatures expected to be in the 70s beginning to end. The registration fee is $50 and includes an event T-shirt. This is the second year for the annual Little Hollywood half marathon.
Runners can enjoy a postrace meal of biscuits and gravy from Houston’s.
