Live From Kanab offers free summer performances
The Live From Kanab 2018 summer concert series will begin July 11 with Kanab’s Fabulous Crooners, Hal Hamblin, Fool’s Gold, Austin Soderquist, Iris Lofing, and The Baker Bunch.
Held each Wednesday at 7 p.m. through August at the new Garkane Solar Stage by the basketball courts across from the library, the series features a themed variety show format incorporating enjoy free watermelon, music, dance, storytelling, and poetry. The event represents the continuation of what began nearly 30 years ago as Wednesday Nights at the Gazebo. Each event will be streamed live at the Kanab Arts Council Facebook page.
Upcoming events will include snippets from “Mary Poppins,” the Symphony of the Canyons, and stories by Doug Keller.
