Liverpool F.C. International Academy Utah has appointed head coach of Dixie State University’s men’s soccer team Jonny Broadhead as the organization’s new regional director of coaching.
Broadhead brings with him experience at club and collegiate levels, including a three-year run as assistant men’s soccer coach at Utah Valley University prior to joining DSU last year.
“It is a massive privilege to work with the Liverpool F.C. International Academy Utah and give young players the chance to learn ‘The Liverpool Way,’” Broadhead said. “Liverpool F.C. has an unrivalled history of success within soccer across the globe and I want youngsters in Utah to benefit from that. It is a very exciting time for players in this area. I would like to thank Liverpool F.C. International Academy Utah for giving me the opportunity to help direct the coaches and players here in St George. I look forward to building relationships with all the club members and guiding the players to develop an undeniable love for the game.”
