On Tuesday January 27, at 6:00 pm, the Vegetarian Society of Utah is very excited to be presenting:  Lose Weight, Lose Meds, Lose Diseases, and Lose Unhappiness! by Barbara J Mathison, CHC; Gaining Health NOT Weight with Food for Life.  Learn how you can obtain all the above and more while eating lots of delicious food. Barbara shows you the HOW and WHY! Fact-based evidence, food demonstration, and samples for all!  Understand how you can have your own umbrella to health and happiness with Food For Life Nutrition and Cooking, giving you the “power” to fight off heart disease, obesity, diabetes, cancer, depression, constipation, and many of the health problems that are more epidemic today than ever before.

Barbara J. MathisonBarbara J Mathison is a Certified Health Coach, & Food For Life (FFL) Instructor with the Physicians Committee (pcrm.org). She is president of Nutritious Way and the Vegetarian Society of Utah. She is a graduate from eCornell T Colin Campbell Foundation in Plant-Based Nutrition and The Wellness Coaching Institute. Her FFL classes, Demo & Dinners, and Nutrition Classes are filled with fact-based nutrition guidelines and lots of delicious healthy recipes. Turning “cold non-turkey” vegan at age 63 in 2007, she is now a healthy, very active 70 year old. It didn’t take more than a few months to get off all her meds (high Blood Pressure, high Cholesterol, fibromyalgia, arthritis, constipation, and within 2 years regained eyesight (lost from a mini-stroke), cancer gone, depression gone and much more, all due to diet change.  Barbara appears frequently on the popular TV program “New You” and contributes healthy recipes twice a month in the www.suindependent.com online news.  For more information about Barbara visit: www.nutritiousway.info.

This event will be held at the St George Community Building, 245 N 200 W, St George UT.  
The Vegetarian Society of Utah is a non-profit 501c3 organization that educates interested individuals, organizations and the general public as to the values and benefits of vegetarianism.  They also provide support and social activities for vegetarian/vegan-oriented people.
