Mesquite Gaming offers summer golf package
By Julian Lupo
Now through Oct. 4, Mesquite Gaming, owner of the Casablanca Resort and Virgin River Hotel, is offering a round of golf at the CasaBlanca Golf Club, a sleeve of golf balls, and a meal at the Virgin River Buffet for $45.
The CasaBlanca Golf Club, designed by Cal Olson in 1996, lies etched into the wetlands of the Mesquite Valley. This beautiful 7,036-yard championship course features 18 holes winding in and out of the Virgin River basin, offering a new experience on every tee. The course boasts bent grass greens, rye grass fairways with white sand bunkers, and numerous lakes. Casablanca Golf Club offers five sets of tees allowing all skill levels a fair chance on this championship golf course. The course features a full suite of amenities, including a complete practice range with putting green and, of course, a deli and bar for that 19th hole libation.
“This is a great opportunity to play the CasaBlanca Golf Club and enjoy a delicious free buffet at our Virgin River Hotel,” said Brian Wursten, director of golf for Mesquite Gaming. “This championship course hosts amazing tournaments each year such as the Mesquite Amateur and the Nevada Open and you won’t find a better deal at such a prestigious course.”
For those looking to stay the night and enjoy all Mesquite has to offer, Mesquite Gaming is also offering a $59 Room and Golf Summer package. Now through Oct. 4, you can enjoy one round of golf at the CasaBlanca Golf Club or Palms Golf Club and a one-night stay at the CasaBlanca Resort & Casino for $59.
Tee times at the CasaBlanca Golf Club begin each morning at 5:50 a.m. with the final group of the day teeing off at 3 p.m. For more information on the courses and to reserve your golf experience, please visit casablancaresort.com/golf or call (702) 346-6764.
