Mesquite Gaming hosts Golden Gloves Junior and Youth Nationals

Mesquite Gaming, in partnership with Barry’s Boxing, is proud to host the 2018 Junior and Youth Golden Gloves Nationals inside the CasaBlanca Events Center at CasaBlanca Resort. The event will take place July 18–21 and will feature young fighters ages 8–18 from boxing gyms across America. Doors open at 5 p.m. each night at the CasaBlanca Event Center with fights starting at 6 p.m. For the first year, the tournament will also feature both boys’ and girls’ boxing, and both divisions will have the opportunity to compete for championship belts in each weight class. The event includes an open-ranking tournament for juniors ages 8–16 and a youth non-ranking tournament for ages 17 and 18.
“This tournament has been growing year after year since Mesquite Gaming began hosting the event in 2012,” said Christopher Lazzara, vice president of marketing. “These young athletes work so hard to obtain their weight class belts for the Golden Gloves National Championship that audiences are on the edges of their seats the entire tournament.”
