Barnes and Noble is hosting Janet Clark-Jones, author of One Ornery Girl, on Saturday, March 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Janet will be doing a reading of her book at story time in the children’s section at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Janet will be available in the store for questions, explanations, autographs, and photo ops. Barnes and Noble is located in the Red Cliffs Mall in St. George, UT.

Janet resides in St. George and has been traveling the states doing book signings and readings of her books in stores and classrooms all over the map. Janet grew up in the small California High Desert town of Boron. She has five brothers and sisters that were all raised by an an educator and homemaker.

After having lived in several other places, Janet feels like she is finally home again in beautiful St. George, Utah. She states she doesn’t have a “Bucket List” because those are things you do “before you die.” Instead, she has a “Life List” of things she accomplishes and looks forward to while she is ALIVE – including a cruise to Alaska to complete her visits to each of the 50 Unites States. Janet says she may have to consider starting over with a book signing in every state.

Listening to Janet read the book she wrote, tell a story, or just share a conversation reveals the amazing nature, spunk, and positive energy housed in this gifted artist. In addition to writing this book, she has also been writing songs both individually and collaborating with others. Several of these songs have been recorded by the studio recording group, The Gypsies Three, of which she is a part. Yes, she sings and plays as well. Their CD release is scheduled for March 28th.

One Ornery GirlTake advantage of the opportunity to meet this amazingly talented and gifted artist in person while getting a signed copy of the book and a photo with Janet. Don’t forget to bring the kids to the story time at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.
