If you have questions about a specific pet or the adoption process, please email adoptions@bestfriends.org, or call (435) 688-2327. If you’d like to apply to adopt one of these featured pets, search their name here then click the orange adopt link and fill out the form. Check out our current and ongoing adoption specials here.

Mr. Magoo

Mr. Magoo’s most distinguishing trait is his great mohawk. He’s super sweet, and loves attention, belly rubs, and crawling into laps. He’s gotten along with all the dogs he’s met at the Sanctuary and enjoys playing with them.

Mr. Magoo does guard food and high-value items. Dogtown caregivers and trainers are working on helping him overcome this tendency.

He will also be undergoing treatment for heartworm disease. Mr. Magoo was born in 2015 and came to the Sanctuary from a Best Friends No More Homeless Pets Network Partner. He’ll soon be ready to go to a loving home of his own. Could it be yours?

Kepler

Kepler is a sweet lady who was adopted once before. She made her owner very happy in his final years before he tragically passed away. Now, Kepler has already learned to trust new people once again and is friendly, playful, and occasionally spicy (in a cute way) with other cats. She likes people the best and is once again looking for a very special person to take her home.

Make arrangements to meet Kepler today!

Karal

Meet Karal. Karal came in with her six kittens and did an amazing job raising them all. Her kittens have all moved out and into fur-ever homes leaving Miss. Karal here waiting.

Karal is good with other cats but, as she grew up feral, is not very much of a people-cat. She may look angry but she’s actually just very scared and timid. She would love to find a home where she could be a working outdoor cat or a home with a very patient person who could work to gain her trust over time.

She will eat Churu and treats that you give her but is still quite a spicy gal. If you think you have a good living environment for this independent woman, click Adopt Karal to fill out an interest form.

Bolt

“Can Anybody Find Me Somebody to Love”? Bolt is the definition of a big bundle of love. He loves kids and longs for a family with room for him in their hearts, a backyard, perhaps a doggy door, and a comfy bed. Bolt has been going to doggy daycare and gets along with other dogs with proper introduction. Come see if you can make Bolt the happiest dog on earth and provide him a safe and loving home.

Bolt does NOT like his ears messed with, missing walk time, or meeting new dogs. He can get along with other dogs but needs a proper and slow introduction.

Jasper is crate-trained and knows lots of commands. He likes to be out on the water and to play in the water, and he loves to go for walks.

Although he is crate trained, he likes to be with his human and sleep in their bed at night (awwww! ). Jasper is house-trained.

He got along just fine with a kitty as a housemate, and he was friends with a chicken. Jasper is currently working with a trainer to help him be the very best dog he can be!

This sweetheart is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Jasper is a very handsome boy who would love to find his fur-ever family!

Sweet senior Shih Tzu, Izzy, is a darling little girl who loves attention!

For the last several years, no one had the time to even take her outside to potty. Izzy is now with her wonderful foster and is learning how good life can be once again. She enjoys going out on walks and is so happy to go outside! She likes playing with her toys, and Izzy does well with other dogs when properly introduced.

Izzy loves everyone she meets. She would do great in a home with older kids who are gentle and respectful. She’s a wonderful little girl with so much love to give and lots of life to live!

Nona

Nona is a 1-year-old mixed-breed girl whose smile is as bright as the sun!

This happy pup is potty trained and gets along great with others. Nona is just the right size; at about 25 pounds, she isn’t too big and she’s not too small.

This beauty has the softest fur and a tail that doesn’t stop wagging. In addition, she has lovely blond eyelashes that frame her deep brown eyes! A few of her favorite pastimes are chasing bugs and perfecting her lap-dog cuddles. She loves everyone she meets!

Nona will be the sweetest companion ever for a very lucky person or family!

Sammie

Sammie is an adorable little gentleman. His salt-and-pepper fur and quiet demeanor make him appear older, but don’t be fooled! Sammie is only about 6 years old and he has many quality years of life ahead of him! Sammie weighs around 10 pounds and is a perfect blend of small dogs!

Sammie is initially timid but once he warms up, he is so sweet and silly! He really is the bestest boy.

He’s potty trained and does well on leash. He enjoys a good snuggle. A quiet home would work best for him.

It’s sweet Sammie’s turn to be loved and taught that life can be good!

Shadow

Shadow is a 10-pound, 1-year-old male looking for his forever home. He is a Poodle, Maltese, and Yorkie mix. Although he is young and full of happy energy, he does NOT participate in the usual puppy issues such as chewing shoes, wires, etc.

Shadow is up to date on shots and neutered. He gets along very well with other dogs but has not been cat-tested. He is willing to sleep on your bed or in his crate.

Initially, he is shy and a bit fearful, but within 24 hours he will be your best buddy.

Shadow is aptly named as he loves to be with his special person.

What a cutie four-year-old Tramp is with his frosty face and charming personality. He really is just as sweet as a boy can be! He’s great with kids, cats, and other dogs and bonds quickly with everyone he meets. He’s the perfect mid-size pup.

Tramp is neutered, microchipped, housebroken, and current on his vaccinations. He loves to be walked, brushed, and loved on. He’s always happy!

Sadie

Sweet Sadie came to us so scared. She’s still shy but is gaining confidence and really coming out of her shell.

Sadie loves to play with other dogs. She would probably be good with cats and respectful children but she’ll need a patient family who is willing to love her on her terms until she feels comfortable. Once she trusts you, she will be your very best friend.

Sadie has been spayed, is house-trained, and is up to date on her vaccinations. She really is the nicest girl and adores being petted and loved on.

Tater

Tater is about 1-1/2. He has already been neutered, and microchipped, and is current on his vaccinations. He’s a wonderful boy who just wants love and security and will give it back to you in spades if given ½ a chance.

Tater needs some stability in his life. He’s been passed around from one home to another but no one has ever been a family to him. He’s a fun boy who likes to talk and play. He’s good with other dogs and adores his people. If you need someone to protect your family while being a total couch potato, he’s your boy.

Jenga

What a happy girl pretty Jenga is but … she would be even happier with a home of her own.

Jenga is such a sweetheart. We’re guessing she’s approximately two years old. She loves to romp with the other dogs and adores kids, although she might get a bit too excited for little ones.

She is spayed, housebroken, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations.

Kit Kat

Kit Kat is a gorgeous young girl who adores snuggling and will melt into your arms for hours. She’s very friendly and gets along with both cats and dogs. Although she hasn’t been around children yet, she should be great with gentle kids as well.

She loves clean, soft blankets and a quiet place for a little alone time.
