This weekend calls for going out on the town and enjoying many events featuring music, food, great company and more starting Friday night with Sunset on the Square. From fundraisers and music, to great food and movies, get out in the community and have a fun entertainment-filled weekend. 1Sunset on the Square

There are only two Sunset on the Squares left, so make sure you don’t miss out this Friday night. Located at Town Square Park, this weekend’s big screen movie will be “Wreck-It Ralph” starting at 6 p.m.

2First Friday George Streetfest

First Friday is back once again with another George Streetfest on Main. Featuring live music, a jazz and beer garden, food trucks, a street market and more, you have so much to look forward to. Located between Tabernacle and St. George Boulevard, get a group together for a night of nothing but fun from 6 to 10 p.m.

3Farmers Markets

Farmers markets continue every Saturday morning in St. George, Springdale and Cedar City. There is nothing better than starting your morning off with a visit. Check out our events calendar at suindependent.com for times and locations.

4Beans and Wheels at Zion Canyon Brew Pub

For music to fill your afternoon, head out to Springdale for a live performance from Beans and Wheels at the Zion Canyon Brew Pub. Hear their folk and light rock style with a beautiful Zion Canyon back drop. They’ll be on the patio from 4 to 7 p.m.

5DiFiore Center holds Fundraiser

Help The DiFiore Center get ahead of the “8” ball by being a part of their Utah Jazz Reunion Concert to fundraise for renovations to the Center. Donate by supporting the concert starting at 8:08 p.m. going on for 88 minutes. Tickets are $8.88 per person.
