1“The 39 Steps” at Brigham’s Playhouse

Brigham’s Playhouse brings St. George a new play starting Thursday night. “39 Steps” is performed by only four actors and tells the tale of Richard Hann who becomes a suspect in the murder of a secret spy group agent. This show runs Thursdays through Saturdays at 7 p.m. with a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m. “39 Steps” will run until Feb. 13. For ticket prices and more information, visit www.brighamsplayhouse.com.

2Arts to Zion Art and Studio Tour

The Arts to Zion fifth annual Art and Studio Tour begins Thursday and continues through to Jan. 18. The event will include student exhibitions at The DiFiore Center, the “Arts to Zion” Showcase walkthroughs at The Mission Gallery and Athentique Gallery, a St. George gallery stroll through the Art on Main trail, tours of local artists galleries and home studios, an Artists After Hours party at Zion Canyon Brew Pub featuring live music from Soul What!?, and much more. 3Mesquite Motor Mania 2016

If you like the rev of a motor and have a passion for old-fashioned classics, then check out Mesquite Motor Mania 2016 running Friday through Sunday starting at 9 a.m. all three days. This annual event is expected to bring in over 700 vehicles and over 1000 spectators. Bring your classic to be shown off or enjoy viewing some great pristine models. 4James D’Leon in Springdale

Z-Arts is hosting famous virtuoso pianist James D’Leon who will be performing live pieces on Friday at 7 p.m. at the Canyon Community Center in Springdale. D’Leon will be playing “Blue in Green” and “When I fall in Love” by Bill Evans, “Adios Nonino – A Tango Rhapsody” by Astor Pizolla and more. Don’t miss a night full of great music. 5Funky Friday with Soul What!? & West Coast Jazz Players

Join in on a Funky Friday with Soul What!? at George’s Corner in Ancestor Square. They will be playing live R&B and soul jams from 8 to 11 p.m. Then on Saturday night, go to Jazz on the Corner featuring The West Coast Jazz Players from 8 to 11 p.m. Grab a tasty eat and refreshing drink and kick back to great tunes.

6Turn the Page & Mick Adam and the Stones

See the ultimate tribute to Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band performed by Turn the Page at the CasaBlanca Resort in Mesquite on Friday. Then Saturday night, enjoy a live tribute to The Rolling Stones by Mick Adams and the Stones. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m for both concerts. They are 21 and over.
