Dixie State University and Summer Comedy Theatre present “The Lieutenant of Inishmore”

This play has an “R” rating for graphic violence, language, blood, and a cat. “The Lieutenant of Inishmore” plays every Thursday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Eccles Fine Arts Center at Dixie State University. Downtown Farmer’s Market at Ancestor Square

Southern Utah Weekend Events Guide features the Year-Round Cedar City Farmers MarketOne of the favorite Southern Utah Weekend Events, the Downtown Farmer’s Market, is open every Saturday at 8 a.m. to noon in Ancestor Square at 2 W. St. George Blvd. and will run through Oct. 29. The market features live music and an array of vendors. The Downtown Farmer’s Market is a nonprofit project dedicated to promoting the downtown area as well as organic gardening, homemade arts and crafts, and other goods. The market accepts the Horizon Card and participates in “Double Up Bucks” offered through a grant from Utahns Against Hunger. Come to the market and shop for farm-fresh produce with your Horizon Card and Double Up Bucks will match what you spend up to $10 each Saturday.

Year-Round Farmer’s Market in Cedar City
