Rockville Bridge Artists’ Reception

Southern Utah Weekend Events Guide features the Rockville Bridge artist's receptionThe Historic Rockville Bridge will be displayed in various artistic vision by local artists at the Canyon Community Center from June 1 through July 11. Come be the first to see this incredible collection of art and bid at our silent auction. A portion of all sales will be contributed to the Rockville Bridge Fund. “Charly: A Love Song”

“First Freedom”

Southern Utah Weekend Events Guide features "First Freedom" the musicalAward-winning playwright Rob Lauer and Emmy Award-winning, Utah composer Sam Cardon bring a powerful new musical, “First Freedom,” to the stage at Brigham’s Playhouse every Wednesday and Friday at 7 p.m. and every Saturday at 2 p.m. until July 2. This combination of humor, suspense, and gripping music tells the story of Thomas Jefferson and James Madison’s fight for humankind’s most fundamental right: freedom of religion. Mesquite Amateur 2016

Southern Utah Weekend Events Guide features the Mesquite AmateurThe 14th Annual Mesquite Amateur is a five-day, 54-hole tournament being held this Thursday and Friday. This event is one of the largest handicapped amateur tournaments in the nation. The top four participants from each flight will complete in the 18-hole championship round at the CasaBlanca Golf Club. June Moon Jubilee and George Streetfest

Come enjoy the live music on the main stage and the jazz and beer garden in Ancestor Square. Vendor booths and delicious booths will be available all night. Hike for PAWS

Southern utah weekend events guide features: Paws hikeThe fifth “Hike for PAWS” will be start this Saturday with preregistration at 9 a.m. Local businesses have donated prizes for a fun drawing that will start before the hike. All hikers should meet at Nisson Park in Washington and gather around the PAWS sign by 9 a.m. Four-legged family members are encouraged to join, but PAWS does request that they remain on a leash.  The hike will explore Pioneer Park, Dixie Rock, “The Slot,” and other beautiful views along this easy hike. Southern utah weekend events guide features: LITUtah’s largest bonfire rager is an all-night adventure that begins Saturday at 8 p.m. and runs to Sunday 11:30 a.m. This epic party will be hosted on a beautiful 20-acre venue just outside of St. George at The Shivwits Paiute Indian Reservation Festival Grounds in Ivins. Grab your friends, some camping gear, and a cooler full of food and drinks! Camping on the land is permitted and included in your admission fee. This event is ages 18 and older only.
