Southern Utah Weekend Events Guide features Forever PlaidStart off the weekend with Forever Plaid, bringing doo-wop melodies and hilarious antics to Brigham’s Playhouse every Thursday through Saturday until April 23. Join Sparky, Smudge, Jinx, and Frankie for a musical show to remember. The show runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. with matinee shows on Saturdays from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tickets run from $17 to $23. St. George Arts Festival

The 37th annual St. George Arts Festival is happening Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. See over 110 visual artists works from around the United States along with two stages with live performances, two food courts, games, face painting, and more. This year’s featured artist for the festival is metal sculptor and welder Matt Clark. Don’t miss out on two days of art, music, food, and fun at the St. George Historic Town Square. This year marks the 100th year celebration for the National Parks Service. Hear how it was created 100 years ago at a lecture by Steve Parker, a political science professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This is part of the Zion Canyon Field Institute J. L. The performances will be at the Electric Theater in downtown St. George on Saturday, March 26 and Monday, March 28 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. with a Saturday matinee performance from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 on Saturday and from $5 to $10 on Monday.
