The city of Springdale has put together several holiday events this month. Zion Joy to the World got into full swing Nov. 26 with a tree lighting and caroling at Sol Foods Market where people enjoyed live music from Ray Orton and headed out for a community caroling session.
Things continue Dec. 10 with the Zion Joy to the World light parade and sweet social. The theme for this year’s light parade is “Whimsical Wonderland.” The parade starts at 7 p.m. and will proceed along Utah State Route 9 through Springdale until it ends at the Canyon Community Center where Santa and the sweet social will be in full swing.
Zion Joy to the World’s New Year’s fireworks celebration will be held Dec. 31 at 7 p.m., Visitors and locals can enjoy a view of Zion Canyon lit up by colorful fireworks.
