St. George Chamber of Commerce hosts Republican candidate forum

In an effort to help the Southern Utah business community become better acquainted with the Republican primary candidates for Washington County Commissioner — Gil Almquist and Dean Cox — and Utah House District 75 — Walt Brooks and Steve Kemp — the St. George Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate forum luncheon on Wednesday, June 15. The event will take place at the Dixie Convention Center Garden Room, located at 1835 Convention Center Drive in St. George. This forum will include questions regarding growth, expansion, transportation, and the role of county and federal government. The luncheon starts at noon and is open to the public. Reservations for the event can be made online at stgeorgechamber.com.

The St. George Chamber of Commerce and its Community Action Committee work to keep their membership informed about current political issues and elections. The St. George Chamber of Commerce aims at maintaining and developing a community in which business and families can thrive.
