The Lawn Darts, an Americana rock band, will bring their classic rock and original music to George’s Corner in Ancestor Square on Friday, April 24, from 8 to 11 p.m. The show will be following the days events at the downtown Southern Utah Culinary Arts Festival. Comprised of some of Utah’s top musicians, The Lawn Darts have opened for Styx, Kansas, and The Beach Boys as well as headlined such local venues as the Washington County Fair, St. George First Night, and the OC Tanner Amphitheater at Zion National Park.

Not only is The Lawn Darts’ music high caliber, their sense of humor and excitement for entertaining makes for a fun night. Their main objective is for everybody, both band and audience to have a good time. With influences from Styx, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Night Ranger, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and a lengthy list of other great bands and musicians, it is easy to find yourself singing along. Just don’t sing too loud or you might get asked to join them on the next song. Whether you have heard them before or are experiencing them for the first time, they never disappoint. They offer a quality sound all the way around.

Should you find yourself in need of a ride home after the show, George’s Corner has an arrangement with Taxi USA. When calling for a cab from George’s Corner, fare is only $6.00 to any destination within the city. You can’t really beat this as a designated driver option. Taxi USA can be reached at (435) 656-1500.
