Vest Dixie's Area Police K-9's donates first vest to Washington County Thursday, Feb. 19

Vest Dixie’s Area Police K-9’s recently started started a project to try to raise enough money to buy bullet proof & stab resistant vests for all of the Police K-9’s working in Washington County.

They have just raised enough money to buy the first vest, and will be holding a press conference to officially present it to Tess, the Patrol K9 for the Washington County Sheriff’s Department today, Feb. 19, at 2:00 p.m. at the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.  Tess will be putting on a demonstration with the vest on.
