It’s hard to make choices regarding what to eat for the best health of your body and mind. There is so much confusing information available that sometimes it seems easier to just continue taking your medications and enduring the pains of many different ailments (like obesity, cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, lupus, arthritis and so many more), thinking “it just runs in my family” and “food has no effect.” But it’s not true!

On Saturday, Dec. 28 at 6 p.m., the Vegetarian Society of Utah will show “The Latest in Clinical Nutrition #15” by Michael Greger, MD. The event will be held at the St George Community Building, 245 N. 200 West in St. George. Watch Dr. Greger as he walks viewers through the many proven reasons why “it really is the food we eat” in a fun and easy-to-understand way.

Dr. Greger is licensed as a general practitioner specializing in clinical nutrition and was a founding member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. He was featured on the Healthy Living Channel promoting his latest nutrition DVDs and was honored to teach part of Dr. T. Colin Campbell’s esteemed nutrition course at Cornell University. Dr. Greger’s nutrition work can be found at NutritionFacts.org, which is now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity.

Admission to this event is free, but donations are appreciated.
