A smoke detector can be the difference between life or death, and so they are something that should be in every home and building. Thanks to Washington City Home Depot, there will be 100 more of them in homes this year.

Washington City Home Depot is giving back to the community by donating 100 smoke alarms to the local fire department. “Our company sponsors a Care for Your Community challenge. Associates took the challenge and won the regional competition! We feel pride in being able to give back to this community that gives so much to us”, said Brad Simmons Store Manager.

The 100 Smoke Alarms will be presented to Washington City Fire Department Dec. 6th, 2014 at 11:30 am.  The presentation is taking place at the Home Depot located at 725 E. Telegraph, Washington Utah.
