The Washington County Fair Kicks Off April 14th

If you haven’t already heard, the Washington County Fair is just around the corner at its new earlier annual time slot! So hard to believe another year has come and gone and oh boy are you in for some serious fun and entertainment!
Just two short years ago, the fair set attendance records and saw southern Utah come together to celebrate after being locked up and locked out by COVID 19 and this year’s fair is sure to be one for the record books with an amazing list of attractions and things to do. Like I always say, you’re not going to be satisfied attending just one day, you’re seriously going to want to keep coming back day after day, so you don’t miss a thing!
Here are just a few of the exciting things you can expect to enjoy this year!
The fair officially runs from April 13th to the 22nd, with a fun JR Rodeo on the 13th and a full-blown Rodeo kicking things into high gear on Friday, April 14th & 15th along with the Special Needs Rodeo at 11 AM that same Saturday.
If you’re into Parades like our family is, you won’t want to miss that on Tuesday, April 18th. It starts at the Washington City Community Center at 6 PM with a Fair Kick Off Celebration and goes on until 9 PM at Veterans Park. And, with that, the fun is just beginning!!
There’s the Carnival, the Demolition Derby, a southern Utah tradition, a special Public Celebration to honor our Vietnam Veterans, Boxing, Live Music, a Petting Zoo, and Chris Janson will be with us live and in person to entertain your entire family. So many great things await you this year so don’t dilly dally, let’s get a move on!
