Kanab Arts Festival Features Creative Fun For All Ages

Kanab Arts Council invites art lovers of all ages to the Kanab Arts Fest (formerly Redrocktoberfest) and Chalk Art Competition. Conveniently located at the Kanab Center, there will be a variety of family friendly, creative activities offered.
The popular Chalk Art Competition returns again this year. Starting with Registration on October 9th and continuing through October 12th, creative artists will draw chalk art masterpieces on the sidewalks in Kanab City and near the Kanab Center. Local judges will award prizes in age specific categories and guests will enjoy a sidewalk gallery of images.
The Kanab Arts Fest also features a wide-range of artistic activities for all ages on October 12th between 10 AM and 2 PM. The fun includes children’s crafts, an adult drawing competition, a dance show, music workshop, corn husk doll making, literary activities, face painting, wagon rides and more.
Festival vendors will be showcasing and selling their crafts and art at the Kanab Center. Food trucks will also be on hand to serve culinary delights.
