Buckskin Tavern Grand Reopening: Street Tacos, Live Music, and Rock Legends!

The Buckskin Tavern is pleased to announce its Grand Reopening on Saturday May 10. At noon the Kanab Chamber of Commerce has arranged a ribbon cutting – which will be followed by our renowned Street Taco buffet and a happy hour of beverages on the house. Come and enjoy our hospitality!
Later that evening we will enjoy the music of Mesozoic, who are being featured in our Beer Garden for their debut performance on the Buckskin’s new outdoor stage. Their performance will begin at 8 PM with a $5 cover change. Come enjoy the music and the incredible views looking west over the vermillion cliffs.
The Buckskin is also celebrating its Reopening month by hosting rock legends Nazareth on their Bite the Bullet Tour, who will perform live on the new Buckskin stage on Monday May 19. The gates will open at 6 PM with the performance at 8 PM. The Buckskin will show off its new outdoor patio, with food trucks and beer on tap.
Nazareth belongs to the first generation of Hard/Heavy bands and has significantly characterized the direction of Hard Rock along with the other pioneers of this genre. Formed in 1968, Nazareth rose from playing the pubs, clubs and dance halls of their native Scotland to become one of the world’s most successful rock bands, having sold more than 60 million records and notching up a string of hits along the way. ‘Broken Down Angel’, ‘Bad Bad Boy’, ‘Turn On Your Receiver’ and ‘My White Bicycle’ all made their marks on the world charts alongside the mega-hits ‘Dream On’, ‘This Flight Tonight’, ‘Hair Of The Dog’ and the one and only ‘Love Hurts’ are among the hits in their catalogue.
Just over the state line from Kanab in Fredonia AZ, the Buckskin embodies the western cowboy spirit, with the longest bar in Arizonia, 3 pool tables, foosball, corn hole, and 7 TVs to relax and watch sports. Serving the community since 1934, the Buckskin invites you to experience its historic atmosphere and its many activities and performances.
