Young artists ages 8–12 are invited to get creative at the Youth Weaving Workshop, held Wednesday, July 9 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Washington City Library Community Room (220 N 300 E).

Led by fiber artist Doni Pack and hosted by the Washington City Arts Council, this interactive workshop introduces children to the basics of weaving in a fun and supportive environment. Each participant will receive a cardboard loom, two skeins of yarn, and two plastic needles. Kids will leave with their weaving project in progress, along with remaining supplies and easy instructions to complete the work or begin a new one at home.

Space is limited to 20 participants. Each child must be accompanied by a teen or adult helper for the full workshop.
