Springs Park has a brand new playground and the city is inviting the community to come celebrate. The Springs Park Grand Reopening takes place December 2 at 4 PM at 2395 E. Springs Drive, and everyone is welcome.

The refreshed neighborhood park is one of many improvement projects funded by the voter-approved Trails, Parks and Recreation General Obligation Bond. With the new playground being a popular community request, families can now explore an upgraded space built with materials designed to stay cooler during Southern Utah’s warm summers. The design includes a tall play tower with slides, a log scramble, and new swings.

Springs Park spans eleven acres along the Virgin River and sits beside Seegmiller Marsh. The park is home to a lighted half basketball court, a playground, walking paths with bench swings, restroom facilities, and a large pond filled with ducks and geese. Visitors also enjoy a covered pavilion with picnic tables and a barbecue area, making it a popular spot for family gatherings.

The renovation adds new pathways, updated landscaping, and a stream that flows through the area, creating a more inviting environment for both children and adults.

A brief program and refreshments will be available during the event while supplies last.
