RSQ

RSQ is a non-profit animal rescue in St. George, Utah. Our mission is to be a voice for the voiceless, bettering the lives of animals in Utah’s rural communities. All the animals in our care are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipped, and any medical care they may need before adoption. Molly

Look at this sweet girl. Molly LOVES everyone she meets, four-legged and two-legged. She is housetrained, great with kids, and loves to be part of the action. Likely a labradoodle (her soft, curly hair is a poodle giveaway), Molly is more retriever than poodle.

Molly currently is in a foster home, but we can arrange a meet at any mutually convenient time. If you are looking for a fun, loving, young dog,  she is the one for you.

George

George is a special dog looking for a special family. This handsome adult hound checks all the boxes: dog friendly, kid friendly, a gentle giant, an oversized lapdog and a typical hound goof. He loves his daily walks, trips to the dog park and saying “hi” to everyone that wants to meet him (he is a people magnet).

George came to RSQ after being found at truck stop in a rural area. He was very weak and sick with Valley Fever, anemia and thyroid issues. It has been a long recovery but we are so happy to say George is ready to find his furever family who can support him as he gets stronger each day.**George is a foster-to-adopt as he continues his medical treatments.

Rocky

Rocky, a name befitting a strong and loyal companion, is waiting with a heart full of love to offer. About 5 years old, Rocky is a friend to all with a special affinity for all dogs, big and small. With a warm and calm demeanor, Rocky is the perfect addition to any family or pack, offering endless loyalty and a loving spirit. His gentle soul and easy-going nature make him a perfect match for those seeking a four-legged friend to complete their home. He’s a big, loving lapdog who enjoys his walks but not his baths.

Come meet Rocky and open your heart to a forever bond.

Elaine

Elaine is a bright, affectionate 14-week-old Husky/Terrier mix who arrived from a Spokane shelter with her siblings. From her very first day with us, she revealed her gentle nature and her eager curiosity. She explores the world with wide, intelligent eyes, and she carries that irresistible puppy charm that makes people soften the moment they meet her.

She has received her age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, microchipped, and spayed. Elaine is healthy, growing, and ready to begin life with a family who will guide her through puppyhood with patience, structure, and love. She is at the perfect age to learn, bond, and develop into a confident, well-mannered companion.

Elaine is the kind of puppy who makes people pause and soften. She responds beautifully to gentle encouragement. Her curiosity is one of her best traits. She approaches new experiences with a brave spark, eager to understand the world around her. She is playful, social, and wonderfully open to learning, which makes her an ideal match for adopters who want a puppy they can shape and bond with from the very beginning.

With consistent guidance and positive reinforcement, Elaine will grow into a loyal, well-mannered companion who brings warmth, energy, and joy into her home. She has already left the uncertainty of shelter life behind. Now she is waiting for someone who sees her potential and wants to give her the future she deserves.

If you are looking for a puppy who will bond deeply, learn quickly, and brighten your days, Elaine is ready to go home with you.

Jaque

Jaque is a bright, affectionate 14weekold Husky/Terrier mix who arrived from a Spokane shelter with his siblings. From the moment he stepped through our doors, he showed us exactly who he is: curious, eager to learn, and full of that irresistible puppy charm that makes people smile without even trying.

He has received his age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, microchipped, and neutered. He is healthy, growing, and ready to begin life with a family who will guide him through puppyhood with patience, structure, and love.

What makes Jaque special is the way he connects with people. He watches faces, responds to gentle encouragement, and approaches new experiences with a brave little tail wag. He is playful without being overwhelming, and he settles beautifully once he knows he is safe. With consistency and positive reinforcement, he will blossom into a loyal, well-mannered companion.

If you are looking for a puppy who is ready to bond deeply, learn quickly, and bring joy into your home every single day, Jaque is ready to go home with you. He has already overcome the uncertainty of shelter life. Now he is waiting for someone who sees his potential and wants to give him the future he deserves.

George

Hi! I’m one of 21 puppies rescued from the Spokane, Washington fire district. I was already in a shelter waiting for my forever home when the fire broke out—and suddenly, my journey took a very unexpected turn. Thanks to PAWS, I made the long trip from Spokane to St. George, and now I’m safe, loved, and ready for the best part of my story… finding my forever family! And believe it or not, I’m already the complete package! I am:

🐾 Up to date on my vaccines

🐾 Microchipped

🐾 Scheduled to be Neutered

🐾 Good with other dogs

🐾 Great with children

🐾 And because I’m still a young puppy, I’ll probably do just fine learning to live with cats, too!

I’m fun-loving, playful, sweet, and ready to put my Spokane adventure behind me and start my new life. Come meet me, my siblings, and all my PAWS friends at the PAWS Adoption Center. I’ve already traveled a long way to get here. Now I’m just waiting for that final little journey…HOME.

Stevie

Stevie is a gentle, loving senior cat who came to us from a Spokane shelter. At around ten years old, she still has plenty of affection to give and is hoping to find a quiet, caring home where she can enjoy her golden years.

Stevie has hyperthyroidism, a common and manageable condition in older cats. She will need daily medication, but she takes it well and feels her best when she receives it consistently. If you are willing to provide her with this simple care, she will reward you with endless love, gratitude, and companionship.

She has already been spayed, vaccinated, and dewormed, and she is ready to settle into a home where she can relax, feel safe, and be cherished.

Stevie is the perfect match for someone who appreciates the calm, sweet nature of senior cats. She is gentle, affectionate, and eager to bond with a person who will give her the stability and kindness she deserves. If you are looking for a loving companion and are able to support her medical needs, Stevie would be a wonderful addition to your home.

Eche

Eche is a beautiful three-year-old tabby with stunning green eyes that seem to glow when she looks at you. She has a soft, quiet presence that makes her an easy cat to love. Eche is not demanding or pushy; instead, she prefers to sit nearby, offering companionship in the sweetest, most peaceful way.

She enjoys cozy spots, gentle pets, and calm environments where she can relax and feel secure. Once she feels comfortable, she shows her affectionate side with slow blinks, soft purrs, and warm trust. Eche would thrive in a home that appreciates a gentle, steady companion. She is ready for a family who will give her the love and stability she deserves.

If you are looking for a calm, loving cat with a beautiful spirit and unforgettable green eyes, Eche may be the perfect match.

James Bond

James Bond was not supposed to be alone. But one cool morning, he found himself abandoned with nothing but his tuxedo coat and his quiet hope that someone would notice him. He remembers the sound of the door closing. He remembers waiting, certain someone would come back for him. No one did.

.His bright tuxedo markings made him look like he was dressed for a gala he had never been invited to. At the shelter, he became known as Bond, James Bond—the cat who carries himself with quiet dignity and a surprising amount of charm. He is only about a year and a half old, but he already has the presence of a cat who has lived through something and come out stronger.

He is the kind of cat who sits near you rather than on you at first, watching with those intelligent eyes. Then, once he decides you are trustworthy, he leans in gently, like he is letting you in on a secret. And the secret is this: James Bond is ready to love someone with his whole heart.

He wants a home where he will never wait by a closed door again. He wants a person who sees his elegance, his resilience, and the sweetness he tries so hard to hide behind his “cool agent” exterior. He wants someone who will choose him.

Gracie

Gracie is a joyful 2-1/2 year old pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She loves all people and is always ready to play, explore and be part of the action. Gracie has completed a training program and is eager to show off everything she has learned. She enjoys car rides, park trips, camping, swimming, walks, and running around outside. Gracie would thrive with an active family looking for a fun-loving companion to share life’s adventures.

Gracie would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, housebroken, uses a dog door, and knows several commands. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic companion with a zest for life, Gracie is ready to bring love, laughter, and plenty of tail wags to her forever home.

Gunner

Just like in the bayou, a good gumbo gets better with time, and that is just like our sweet senior boy, Gunner. This 12-year-old Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog has the classic speckled coat the breed is known for and a pair of ghost blue eyes that light right up when you grab a toy.

Gunner is a gentle old soul who enjoys friendly dogs and absolutely soaks up all the love and attention he gets from the staff and volunteers. These days, he is looking for a calm, comfortable home where he can go out for a leisurely stroll, then rest his paws, enjoy some companionship, and take life at an easy pace.

Because Gunner is a senior gentleman, he would do best in a home without cats or small children. Older visiting kids are just fine as long as they understand that sometimes an old bayou dog just needs a little peace and quiet.

Dusty

One-year-old Dusty has the cutest overbite, which makes him look like he’s always smiling … or maybe he’s smiling because he’s always happy. He also has somewhat of a cropped tail, adding to his 40 pounds of charm. He’s a friendly boy who enjoys being with people and other dogs.

Make arrangements to meet Dusty today!

Mannix

Mannix is a 5-year-old professional cuddle expert and full-time Velcro dog. If you’ve been searching for a loyal little shadow who believes personal space is overrated, your search may be over. Mannix absolutely adores his people and wants nothing more than to stay close

He does best with adults and gets along well with other dogs. Cats are still an unknown. Mannix enjoys hikes and adventures, but he’s also perfectly happy lounging at home, soaking up attention. Like many sensitive dogs, Mannix can get stressed when left alone, so he is currently working on crate training. Mannix is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find the forever home he’s been waiting for.

Christopher Robin

Christopher Robin is a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix with a thoughtful soul and a gentle spirit. Just like his storybook namesake, he’s the steady presence everyone else looks to, and he takes that role seriously.

He’s affectionate, observant, and happiest when he’s near his people or his doggy friends. Whether it’s exploring the yard or settling in for a quiet evening, Christopher Robin is the kind of companion who makes every day feel a little more special.

Christopher Robin is a bit wary of men and may become defensive when he feels unsure. While we don’t know his full past, he may not have had positive experiences before. With patience, consistency, and gentle introductions, he is capable of learning to trust and forming strong, lasting bonds.

He would thrive in a loving home where he can continue to be your faithful sidekick and best friend. After all, “you’re braver than you believe,” and Christopher Robin is ready to remind you of that every day.

Christopher Robin has been neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. This little gentleman is ready to head home for his happily ever after.

Maple

Just like her name, Maple is as sweet as maple syrup and ready to find the loving home she deserves. Estimated to be around 2 years old, Maple is a gentle girl with a heart of gold. While we don’t know her full story, we believe she was abandoned in Apple Valley. Maple has beautiful eyes (one brown and one blue)  that perfectly match her unique personality. She rides well in the car and is always happy to be part of the adventure.

Maple is happiest spending time with her people. She enjoys relaxing at home, soaking up affection, and curling up beside her favorite humans. She also likes exploring the yard, sniffing new scents, and going for leisurely walks (although she can pull on the leash and would benefit from some continued leash training). It appears that Maple does well with other dogs, chickens, strangers, babies, toddlers, and older children. Her compatibility with cats is unknown.

Ray Ray

Ray Ray is a 7-year-old sweetheart with striking blue eyes, a big personality, and an even bigger heart. At 91 pounds, this lovable chunky monkey has already begun his weight loss journey and is working toward a healthier, happier future. Ray Ray is full of happy energy and loves spending time with people and dogs of all ages, including the new friends he makes wherever he goes. He’s friendly, affectionate, and gets along well with other dogs.

Ray Ray has good manners, is neutered, housebroken, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a family of his own. He does pull on the leash sometimes, so he’ll benefit from some continued work on his walking skills as he sheds those extra pounds. Your loyal companion with beautiful blue eyes, a joyful spirit, and plenty of love to give is waiting to meet you!
