The legendary red rock backdrop of Sand Hollow Resort’s outdoor Rock Bowl is set to echo with the sounds of rock, country, and brass this autumn. The resort has announced its highly anticipated Fall Sunset Concert Series, presenting four world-class tribute performances taking the stage every Friday evening throughout September, followed by a special headlining performance in early October.
Each September performance runs from 6:30 PM to 8 PM, with gates opening at 5:30 PM to allow concertgoers to secure their spots under the desert sky. Marketing Manager Elizabeth Totman shared that the Sunset Concert Series has grown into one of the most beloved seasonal traditions at the resort, offering an unmatched experience as the sun dips below the spectacular landscape.
The September lineup kicks off on September 4 with 25 or 6 to Faux, a tribute to the horn-driven hits of Chicago. This talented group of musicians has previously shared stages with iconic acts like Foreigner, Asia, KISS, and Barry Manilow. On September 11, the series shifts to classic country with Amarillo by Morning: A Tribute to George Strait, fronted by the Grammy-nominated vocalist Rowdy McCarran. Rock fans can get their fix on September 18 when San Diego’s premier tribute act, Noise Pollution: The AC/DC Experience, delivers high-voltage hits spanning both the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson eras. The September series concludes on September 25 with Vegas McGraw, a veteran tribute artist who has opened for Taylor Swift and Jason Aldean, performing the beloved anthems of Tim McGraw.
To cap off the fall season, the resort will welcome country artist Emily Ann Roberts for a special headline performance on Thursday, October 8. A Season 9 finalist on The Voice and ACM New Female Artist nominee, Roberts will bring classic country sounds and bluegrass influences from her album Can’t Hide Country to the Rock Bowl. Doors open at 5 PM, and tickets are available for general admission, reserved seating, and VIP packages.
Concertgoers are reminded that outside food and beverages are not permitted. However, an on-site concession stand will have food and drinks available for purchase. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the gates, subject to availability. Located in Hurricane, Sand Hollow Resort offers championship golf, vacation rentals, and dining, located five minutes from Sand Hollow State Park and the Sand Mountain dunes.
