1DSU Theater presents “The White Whale”

Dixie State University’s Theatre Department begins their adaptation of Herman Melville’s “Moby-Dick” with “The White Whale.” Directed by Mark Houser, this rendition of a classic tale will open Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. and continue through to Feb. 5. 2St. George Winter Bird Festival

If you have a love for birds, then be a part of the 13th annual St. George Winter Bird Festival. Join Red Cliffs Audubon for bird walks, field trips, keynote speakers, a silent auction, bird photo contest and more. The festival runs Thursday through Saturday at Tonaquint Park and Nature Center. Eat your way through St. George’s best chili at the Red Rock Bicycle Chili Cook Off. Make your own special recipe, or come enjoy the flavors and cast your vote for the best chili makers. The winner will take home a Rock Hopper. The cook off runs Saturday afternoon from 1 to 3 p.m. at Red Rock Bicycle. Come out and support your local chili chefs.

 

6Tom Bennett Band

The Tom Bennett Band hits the stage at Zion Canyon Brew Pub Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. Hear some folk and blues live while enjoying a fresh handcrafted brew in the beautiful Zion Canyon area.

 

7Branson Anderson Live

If you are planning to stay in St. George Saturday evening, then see more live folk from Branson Anderson. He will be playing at George’s Corner from 8 to 11 p.m.

8SALT Contemporary Dance
