The Pioneer Center for the Arts will host the 15th annual Soup N’ Bowl fundraising luncheon and auction for the St. George Art Museum March 3 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event will be held in the Social Hall. Attendees will receive lunch and their choice of a hand-made ceramic bowl created by a professional artist, a pottery student from a Washington County high school or Dixie State University, or a ceramic hobbyist.
A silent auction will give attendees a chance to bid on pottery made by local professional potters and pieces from several ceramic artist participants in the St. George Art Festival. Funds raised will be used to purchase pieces for the museum’s permanent collection.
Tickets are $25 and also provide admission to the museum where two shows are currently on display through April 15, including Shu Yamamoto’s “Feline Classics” and selections from the museum’s permanent collection. The Pioneer Center for the Arts is located at 200 N. Main St. in St. George. More information is available by calling (435) 627-4525.
