Angels Landing closing for repairs
By Aly Baltrus
Zion National Park’s trail crew will close Angels Landing Trail Aug. 20 and 21 in order to replace multiple posts which support the chain sections on the trail. The trail will close at 6 a.m. Aug. 21 and should reopen by 6 a.m. Aug. 22 once the posts have fully cured.
Access to Scout Lookout and the West Rim Trail will remain open for hikers during trail project. For up-to-date trail information, please visit nps.gov/zion/index.htm, stop by the visitor center, or follow the park at twitter.com/zionnps.
