Lanasouthern utah adoptable pets Lana

There’s definitely a gentle giant in there, and Lana’s working on bringing it out. She can be apprehensive about certain things, she’s incredibly strong on a leash, and she’ll sometimes try to chase cars. She can also be defensive with barriers, like her gate and her crate, but Dogtown caregivers and trainers are working with her on these things. Once you take the time to get to know her, Lana, who was born in 2013, is sweet and sensitive. She also has great manners and is very smart, with a desire to please her person. If you think you can give Lana the love, support, and guidance she needs, she’d be thrilled to meet you.

Jarvissouthern utah adoptable pets Jarvis

Jarvis is energetic and playful, and he’s a great “adventure” dog. He also settles nicely and is a great cuddle buddy. Because Jarvis will jump fences, he must be kept safe and secure. He is not good with cats or other dogs, so it would be best if he were an only pet.
Jarvis was born in 2012. He’s learning lots of new skills at the Sanctuary, including walking on a loose leash, waiting for his meals, and crate training. He’s also learning basic training cues such as “sit,” “down,” and “paw.” If you’re looking for a fun, friendly and energetic dog, Jarvis may be your perfect match. Jarvis has a generous sponsor who will cover his adoption fee.

Jupitersouthern utah adoptable pets Jupiter

This handsome tabby acts like he’s nervous when he first meets you, but he really likes to get chin and butt scratches. Jupiter really adores the companionship of other cats and especially likes to cuddle with his best friend Bud. They are both on a wet food diet and are fed three times a day. Born in 2010, he was rescued from a hoarding situation. He is still a bit shy but has really come out of his shell since being at Best Friends. He’s gradually becoming more cuddly and playful and would love to be yours. Jupiter is bonded with Bud and would need to be adopted with him.

Budsouthern utah adoptable pets Bud

Bud is not the biggest fan of people, but he loves catnip and food. He’s good with other cats and super bonded with his best friend Jupiter. Born in 2008, he came to Best Friends from a rescue group in Los Angeles. If you wouldn’t mind putting a little extra effort into developing a relationship, Bud promises he’ll do the same. Bud is a Caturtle, also known as a shy cat who comes out of their shell in a home. Bud is bonded with Jupiter and would need to be adopted with him.

Britneysouthern utah adoptable pets Britney

Britney came all the way from Saudi Arabia to find her forever home! This beautiful dilute tortie is sweet and sassy- one minute she’s rubbing against your legs, the next she’s swatting! But through speaking softly and moving slowly you can earn her trust, then she just melts in your lap or in your arms. Britney can be picky about her kitty friends but she’s okay as long as they know that she’s the boss! Will you meet her halfway and consider adding this feisty lady to your home?

Missysouthern utah adoptable pets MISSY

Missy is a gorgeous blue Cane Corso/Pit blend who was very reserved when she first joined BAM but has begun to come out of her shell in foster care. They are sure this means that an adoptive home would get to see even more of her personality shine. Missy would love a person or family that she didn’t have to share with another dog. However, it may just be that she prefers to be the only girl dog in the home, so if you have a male dog and would like to introduce them, BAM can facilitate that. Missy might look tough but deep down she is just a softy that loves to give kisses and cuddles. She also loves to go on walks and car rides and gets a little sad when you leave her behind. She is very choosy on who her furry house companions are because she likes a lot of love so she does best being the only dog. However, she doesn’t mind other dogs visiting. Missy is 100% potty trained and would be best with older children because she needs a quiet environment. She is a wonderful dog who will be a great addition to someone’s family. Missy is a medium dog with a lot of muscle, so she would be a good exercise companion and it would help her stay fit too. To find out more about Missy text or call Julie at (435) 773-5209. Missy’s adoption fee is $125.

Domsouthern utah adoptable pets DOM

Dom is the most lovable puppy-dog-eyed Beagle/Bassett Hound blend you’ll ever meet. This low-rider came to live at That BAM Place while suffering from Cherry Eye (it doesn’t look great but is mostly cosmetic) but that is being corrected and, after that, he’ll be ready for his new family. Dom has clearly lived in a home before and has pretty impressive manners (although he does get up on BAM’s sofa and is still working on the dog door). Though Dom doesn’t bay like a hound, he has a bit of separation anxiety at the adoption center when he has to be put in his kennel while other dogs are out. This would likely be different in a home environment and we do offer trial placements to make sure he is right for you and your home. Dom does not do well with young children. Although Dom gets along with the wide variety of dogs they have in residence with him (often napping with the smallest 6-pound dog), he would enjoy being an only dog as he prefers to be with people over dogs if given the choice. To find out more about Dom or arrange a meeting with him, contact Julie at (435) 773-5209 by texting or calling. His adoption fee is $125.

Yodelsouthern utah adoptable pets YODEL

Yodel is her given name but BAM prefers Foxy (doesn’t she look like a fox?) or Sweetie Pie because of her loving personality. Foxy is small (about 10-12 lbs.) with a cuddle-me personality. She gets along with other dogs, large and small, but much prefers human companionship and will follow you everywhere. She adores being in your lap with an unquenchable appetite for petting. It’s hard not to pet her…she’s always smiling! She’s a bit of a talker but only when other dogs are vocal and is trained to a doggie door! Yodel is spayed, current on vaccinations and microchipped so she can be part of your family immediately. To find out more about Yodel, meet him and see if he’s a match for you, text or call Julie at (435) 773-5209.

Southern utah adoptable pets 5

These puppies are all up for adoption! They are 7 weeks old and will be placed in foster to adopt homes until they are old enough to be spayed or neutered at which point their adoption will become final. For that reason, they will not be placed out of our area. Mom is a German Shepherd and they were told dad was a brindle Boxer. To meet the puppies and see who’s who or find out more about the adoption process, text or call Julie at (435) 773-5209.
