Lobosouthern utah adoptable pets Lobo

They say eyes are the windows to the soul, and Lobo is here to prove it! This sweet boy is as smart as he is handsome, and he would love to be the newest addition to your family. He’s always eager to learn and enjoys training sessions and long walks with lots of chances to sniff the exciting world around him. Lobo has got plenty of energy and would do well in an active home, but is also affectionate and likes cuddling up and being a couch potato. If this soulful sweetheart made an impression on your heart please contact our adoptions team to learn more.

Abbottsouthern utah adoptable pets Abbott

Abbott’s history is a bit of a mystery. All Best Friends know is that he wandered up to a man’s house one day, and since the man couldn’t keep him, he’s now at Best Friends. Abbott is an Australian cattle dog mix, complete with a little nubbin tail. He loves romping with other dogs and playing with his toys. Abbott is all wags and wiggles when he hears his friends call out his name. He’ll even lean in for hugs and belly rubs! The fastest way to get Abbott to love you is with treats. He loves showing off his tricks!

Adelsouthern utah adoptable pets Adel

Adel has come a long way since she was first brought to Dogtown from a nearby rescue. She was fearful then, but she’s sassy and sweet now. She begs for pets from her caregivers and treats from any person she meets. And between her doughy brown eyes and big fox-like ears, how could anyone say no? Her favorite activities are riding in the car, playing with other dogs, and going for leashed hikes with volunteers. She also loves to snooze in her crate and to eat her meal from a good food puzzle. She still benefits from the help of a confident dog friend when she’s exploring new spaces, and would do best in a home with at least one (male) doggy sibling.

Lil Babysouthern utah adoptable pets Lil Baby

A hit-and-run, a bad leg, a neurological condition, and losing the one person who seemed to love her even after her injuries? Lil Baby has seen it all. A kind person had found her already broken and sad, but they lifted her spirits. But when they moved into a new, smaller apartment, Lil Baby couldn’t go.No wonder this poor thing is now so shy around people. She needs a super-compassionate person, preferably one with a few cats already, to help ease her out of her lonely little world. Right now, Lil Baby is much more comfortable around other cats. That’s about the only time she feels safe enough to let her hair down. If you think you might be able to give Lil Baby the time she needs to adjust, and not lose faith in her, please consider adopting this shy girl today.

Tatorsouthern utah adoptable pets Tator

Her friends call her Tator Tot. This adorable, happy Torbie loves other kitties and enjoys taking cat naps with them during the day. She’s almost always cheerful, but a little shy. Once she gets to know you, she’s fine with petting, especially if it comes with crunchy treats. She came to the Sanctuary when a kind couple who rescue strays and find them homes had to move. Born in 2010, Tator Tot is in good health. Could you give this nice girl the chance to have a real home?Tator is a Caturtle, also known as a shy cat who comes out of their shell in a home.

Reneesouthern utah adoptable pets Renee

Renee has cattitude. Born in 2010, she has mellowed with age and become more accepting of people, but she will definitely let you know when she’s had enough of your attention. She doesn’t have an issue about living with other cats, but she’s mostly a loner. She doesn’t like being picked up. She mostly just wants to sit near you. If you sit by her, she very well may climb into your lap and let you pet her. But she’ll run off when she’s had enough. If you don’t mind letting her rule your roost, Renee is a gorgeous lady who’d like to live out her golden years on her terms.

Marshallsouthern utah adoptable pets Marshall

Handsome Marshall is 2+ years old with a very sweet, friendly personality. He is active, energetic, and strong. He walks well on a leash and would make a perfect hiking partner. He also loves to hang out in the pool. Marshall is an accomplished jumper and escape artist so a secure high fenced yard is necessary. He can be a bit dog selective but enjoys playing with dogs of equal energy levels. He has been working with our trainer and deemed one of the smartest dogs in the center. With consistent training and exercise, Marshall will make a wonderful addition to your home.

Browniesouthern utah adoptable pets Brownie

Brownie is an adorable, playful 2-3 years old. He is cautious around people but he wants affection very badly and loves his treats. He is doggie door trained and enjoys roaming his yard or just lying in the sun. Brownie likes the little dog pack at his foster mama’s (he’s not crazy about big dogs but handles quiet ones ok) and, although nervous, warms to new people with the proper introduction. He is not a lap dog yet but, as his fear is replaced by trust, he is getting more comfortable with petting and human contact. Brownie is a sensitive little guy who just needs time, patience and love.

Lokisouthern utah adoptable pets Loki

Loki is a perky senior (best guess 13 years young but who knows?). He loves the great outdoors whether laying in the sun or sunflowers but his bed is his favorite place. He enjoys the little dog pack at his foster mama’s (big dogs are ok too) and, although cautious, warms to new people with the proper introduction. He is not much of a lap dog yet but enjoys petting and treats so he will get more comfortable with patience and love. Bonus: He’s trained to a doggie door! Loki can become your best friend and constant companion if given the chance.

Jonsouthern utah adoptable pets Jon

Jon has been overlooked for a long time. He is very independent. But if you spend time with him, he will show you his goofy and playful side. Jon is going to be the perfect best friend for the lucky person who takes the time to get to know him.

Dyson, Shark, and Kirby

This trio deserves a good furever home together. Is it yours?

Meet this adorable fluffball, Teddy. Teddy is oozing with love and happiness. He has blended in fabulously with his foster home but wants to find his forever home ASAP. Is it with you? Teddy gets along great with dogs and cats, people too. Teddy needs regular grooming every 2-3 months to keep his coat magnificent and brushing 1 or 2 times/week. As any good groomer will tell you, shaving double-coated dogs like Teddy is not recommended; however, a shorter cut is ok if preferred. To find out more about Teddy, meet her and see if she’s a match for you.
Text or call, Julie at (435) 773-5209.

Sochisouthern utah adoptable pets Sochi

Sochi is an active young lady that would love to have a family that wants to take her walking, running or hiking with them. She gets along well with other dogs but she is somewhat dominant. If joining a dog sibling, a meet should be scheduled to make sure they are compatible. BAM hasn’t had the opportunity to test her with cats but could make arrangements to do so if wanted. To find out more about Sochi, meet her and see if she’s a match for you, text or call, Julie at (435) 773-5209.

Rigbysouthern utah adoptable pets Rigby

Rigby is a very fun-loving, snuggly puppy. She does well with almost all dogs of all ages and sizes and loves to play. She loves kids and does well at respecting kids’ space even avoiding knocking her fosters toddler down. She is crate trained but does have occasional accidents as puppies do as they are learning. She has pretty typical puppy behaviors and does like to chew things so, like any puppy, she’ll need good chew toys and your attention and guidance. To find out more about Rigby, meet her and see if she’s a match for you, text or call, Julie at (435) 773-5209.

Domsouthern utah adoptable pets DOM

Dom is the most lovable puppy-dog-eyed Beagle/Bassett Hound blend you’ll ever meet. This low-rider came to live at That BAM Place while suffering from Cherry Eye (it doesn’t look great but is mostly cosmetic) but that is being corrected and, after that, he’ll be ready for his new family. Dom has clearly lived in a home before and has pretty impressive manners (although he does get up on BAM’s sofa and is still working on the dog door). Though Dom doesn’t bay like a hound, he has a bit of separation anxiety at the adoption center when he has to be put in his kennel while other dogs are out. This would likely be different in a home environment and we do offer trial placements to make sure he is right for you and your home. Dom does not do well with young children. Although Dom gets along with the wide variety of dogs they have in residence with him (often napping with the smallest 6-pound dog), he would enjoy being an only dog as he prefers to be with people over dogs if given the choice. To find out more about Dom or arrange a meeting with him, contact Julie at (435) 773-5209 by texting or calling. His adoption fee is $125.

Barrysouther utah adoptable pets BARRY

Were you widowed by a grumpy old man? Have you been looking to add another to your life since his passing? BAM has got the dog for you! In all seriousness, little Barry has good reason to be grumpy. He came to BAM with a broken pelvis from a California shelter. Since being at BAM, the poor guy has had to deal with puppies in his space, big dogs who don’t respect him an–adding insult to injury–he now has kidney stones. BAM wants the old guy to catch a break and live out the remainder of his life with someone he can find solace and love. Barry loves to rub his back on the floor and wiggle and loves to have belly rubs. He enjoys certain members of the BAM team while others simply aren’t his cup of tea. To find out more about Barry, meet him and see if he’s a match for you, text or call, Julie at (435) 773-5209.

Missysouthern utah adoptable pets MISSY

Missy is a gorgeous blue Cane Corso/Pit blend who was very reserved when she first joined BAM but has begun to come out of her shell in foster care. They are sure this means that an adoptive home would get to see even more of her personality shine. Missy would love a person or family that she didn’t have to share with another dog. However, it may just be that she prefers to be the only girl dog in the home, so if you have a male dog and would like to introduce them, BAM can facilitate that. Missy might look tough but deep down she is just a softy that loves to give kisses and cuddles. She also loves to go on walks and car rides and gets a little sad when you leave her behind. She is very choosy on who her furry house companions are because she likes a lot of love so she does best being the only dog. However, she doesn’t mind other dogs visiting. Missy is 100% potty trained and would be best with older children because she needs a quiet environment. She is a wonderful dog who will be a great addition to someone’s family. Missy is a medium dog with a lot of muscle, so she would be a good exercise companion and it would help her stay fit too. To find out more about Missy text or call Julie at (435) 773-5209. Missy’s adoption fee is $125.
