Roady
Looking for a smart dog who loves to learn? Roady is one smart cookie who knows many commands and is crate trained. Roady is ready to accompany you on your next adventure or on your next nap. An affectionate dog, Roady adores people and will shower you with love after you’ve returned home from a long day. His favorite things in life include snuggles and belly rubs. He also loves food puzzles and chew toys. Roady can be picky with his doggie friends, and it takes him a while to feel comfortable even with the right ones, so it’d probably be best for him to be an only dog in a home. Roady was born in 2010. He was found as a stray before he came to Best Friends and is eager to find a forever home. Roady thrives in a home environment and is looking for somewhere to spend his golden years. If you’re looking for a companion to give you undivided love and attention, Roady is your guy.
Joy
She could either be totally attentive or daydreaming. Who can tell by those ears? Actually, Joy offers the best of both worlds! Her attentive side is eager to please people. She already knows sit, stay, down, and come. All she wants in return are love and tummy rubs, which bring us to – her dreamy side! Those belly scratches send her right into a fantasy world. Those eyes are usually laser-focused, but you can just see her zone out under the spell of your touch. Her dreams are filled with wishes for love and belly rubs from a person of her very own. Joy has Babesia, a blood disorder usually picked up from a tick bite. Because it can be transmitted among dogs, Joy must be an only child. But she’s ready and willing to give you as much love as an entire pack! Born in 2006, this smart, outgoing gal also loves to run and play. Everyone needs more joy in their life; how about bringing this Joy into yours? *Joy has a generous sponsor who will pay for the transportation costs to her new home.
Bunny
Bunny is a beautiful brindle girl with soulful eyes. At 8 years old, she is fairly active. Bunny loves to go on walks and outings. She is great on a leash! She loves to play with toys and is good with most dogs. Bunny is sensitive and needs someone who is patient and willing to earn her trust. She would make a great companion for someone with a reliable routine. Once she is comfortable with you, she gets very happy and excited to see you. She will even love getting pets! Since Bunny takes some time to make new friends, she does require adopters to come to the Sanctuary and meet her. Best Friends would love for this sweet senior dog to find her forever home. Go and meet this wonderful girl and fill out an application today. We know you will fall in love!
Jupiter
This handsome tabby acts like he’s nervous when he first meets you but he really loves pets and chin scratches. Jupiter’s favorite thing to do is cuddle up with his best buddy, Bud. He’s a silly boy that likes to play and explore and loves to eat treats. He and Bud are bonded and are looking for a home together, won’t you adopt this adorable duo?
Bud
Bud’s defining characteristic is that he looks exactly like a black bear cub. This adorable guy is not the biggest fan of people yet but he’s making progress and getting braver every day. He’s good with other cats and is bonded with his best buddy Jupiter. Through bribery with food, treats, and catnip Bud is becoming more trusting of people every day. Won’t you give this shy boy a home today?
Teller
This sweet, big boy likes his freedom. He hates being put in a cage but otherwise is an absolute doll. Friendly and mellow, once he gets comfortable with you, Teller would probably be a great lap cat. He likes to go for harness walks and stroller rides. He also enjoys chasing the laser light. Born in 2007, he’s in good health. He came to the Sanctuary from a California cat rescue group. Do you have room in your heart and home for this playful, cuddly cat?

Bailey
From Bailey’s foster: “This is Bailey! She’s living at my house while I’m working from home & she’s waiting for her forever family. She’s 1 year old & the sweetest little pup there ever was. She can run for days & loves playing with my dogs, but she also loves to cuddle up on the couch with me. She’s house trained & can use a dog door. She is a bit of an escape artist so needs a home with a well-fenced yard— although every time she’s jumped a fence, she’s just been trying to get back to us. She knows how to sit & she loves her crate. She’s adoptable through RSQ Dogs”.
Jax
Jax is a gorgeous 2-year-old long hair German Shepard. He was an owner surrender as they didn’t have the time to spend with him. He has a lovely personality and gets along well with kids and dogs just not cats. He loves to play fetch and swim.
Brownie
Brownie is an adorable, playful 2-3-year-old Miniature Pinscher Mix. He is cautious around people but he wants affection very badly & loves his treats. He is doggie door trained & enjoys roaming his yard or just lying in the sun. Brownie likes the little dog pack at his foster and, although nervous, warms to new people with the proper introduction. Brownie enjoys and plays well with other small dogs and children. He’s not a lap dog yet but, as his fear is replaced by trust, he is getting more comfortable with petting and human contact. Brownie is a sensitive little guy who just needs time, patience, and love.
Madison
Cutie Madison is looking for a furever home! She was born in approximately July 2019. She is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone. If interested in Madison, please go to RSQDogsUtah.org and fill out an application.
Batman
Holy Toledo! It’s Batman. This young tuxedo cat is looking to save you. He has “tuxitude” which means he’s spunky, smart, and not above using his formal attire to justify ruling the household. He also has uniquely marked “shoes”. Batman is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone. If interested in Batman, please go to www.rsqdogsutah.org and fill out an application.

Simba
Simba is a 1 1/2-year-old Aussie Mix. That means smart as a cookie, beautiful and soft. This guy is looking for a very calm home with no children. He likes other dogs. He will do best in a home where he has a fenced yard he can spend his time in when he’s not lounging inside. He prefers to be a homebody and doesn’t much like meeting strangers outside of the home or in his home. He has excellent leash manners and is potty trained. His adoption fee is $125.
Maximus
Maximus just might be the cutest sweetest little Chihuahua in town. This super loving social boy is great! He is 5 years old, potty trained, has lived with other dogs, loves humans, and is looking for his new home. His adoption fee is $125.
Dubey
Mr. Dubey is a 6-year-old lover boy. This calm sweet guy is looking for a calm loving home. He will be a wonderful companion cat, he’s cuddly and social. He prefers to be the only cat in the home so he can have all the love to himself. His adoption fee is $75.
Pyper
Two-year-old Pyper just might be the sweetest most cuddly cat at PAWS. She is a lovebug who will make an excellent family cat, companion, and lap cat. Call to set up a meeting with this beauty. Her adoption fee is $75.
Creamie
Creamie is a 1-year-old Tabby. She was one of PAWS mama cats this spring and is now ready to find her own forever home. She is very sweet and cuddly. She gets along with other cats and is a very clean kitty. Call to setup a meeting with this beauty. Her adoption fee is $75.

It also welcomes volunteers for a variety of activities and needs foster families for animals awaiting their forever homes. Please contact Because Animals Matter at (435) 773-5209 or visit becauseanimalsmatter.com for more information.
Tommy
Not only is Tommy a handsome young man, but he is also a very calm and sweet companion! Tommy would love a human to share his gentle personality with. He likely didn’t get the close bond he needed as a pup and is ready to settle in and share some smiles. Tommy is crate trained potty trained, and an extremely well-behaved house dog. He is still getting comfortable with family life so he would prefer a quiet household. If he is not your sole companion, he would prefer mature children and a female dog (cats unknown). Tommy enjoys his walks or hikes, walks well on a leash, and rides well in the car. He is estimated to be about 2 years old, is 47 lbs., has all of his vaccinations, and is chipped and neutered. If interested, please call his foster mom at (858) 531-8919.
Dom
Dom is the most lovable puppy-dog-eyed Beagle/Bassett Hound blend you’ll ever meet. This low-rider came to live at That BAM Place while suffering from Cherry Eye (it doesn’t look great but is mostly cosmetic) but that is being corrected and, after that, he’ll be ready for his new family. Dom has clearly lived in a home before and has pretty impressive manners (although he does get up on BAM’s sofa and is still working on the dog door). Though Dom doesn’t bay like a hound, he has a bit of separation anxiety at the adoption center when he has to be put in his kennel while other dogs are out. This would likely be different in a home environment and we do offer trial placements to make sure he is right for you and your home. Dom does not do well with young children. Although Dom gets along with the wide variety of dogs they have in residence with him (often napping with the smallest 6-pound dog), he would enjoy being an only dog as he prefers to be with people over dogs if given the choice. To find out more about Dom or arrange a meeting with him, contact Julie at (435) 773-5209 by texting or calling. His adoption fee is $125.
Sabrina
After being hit by a car, little Sabrina spent 8 weeks in a cast while her bones healed. She’s 10 years old but loves to adventure by car, trail, or river. Snuggles are her favorite, but she’s not a couch potato. Sabrina lives with several big dogs and enjoys their company. Never once have they heard her bark. Sabrina would be great in any home but, even with her cast off, she will still need tender care until her bones are strong. Sabrina does require daily medication for an enlarged heart but nothing stops this little dog from living life to its fullest. They are still working on house training, but the process is slow due to her broken bones. Sabrina sleeps through the night without urinating and does not urinate on the carpet but will on tile. Her cast may be at fault, and now with it removed, she’ll be more agile and move more easily. To meet Sabrina or find out more about her, contact Andrea or A.J. at (612) 756-2374. Sabrina’s adoption fee is $100 and she is also eligible for their Seniors Helping Seniors Program.
Missy
Missy is a gorgeous blue Cane Corso/Pit blend who was very reserved when she first joined BAM but has begun to come out of her shell in foster care. They are sure this means that an adoptive home would get to see even more of her personality shine. Missy would love a person or family that she didn’t have to share with another dog. However, it may just be that she prefers to be the only girl dog in the home, so if you have a male dog and would like to introduce them, BAM can facilitate that. Missy might look tough but deep down she is just a softy that loves to give kisses and cuddles. She also loves to go on walks and car rides and gets a little sad when you leave her behind. She is very choosy on who her furry house companions are because she likes a lot of love so she does best being the only dog. However, she doesn’t mind other dogs visiting. Missy is 100% potty trained and would be best with older children because she needs a quiet environment. She is a wonderful dog who will be a great addition to someone’s family. Missy is a medium dog with a lot of muscle, so she would be a good exercise companion and it would help her stay fit too. To find out more about Missy text or call Julie at (435) 773-5209. Missy’s adoption fee is $125.
