Alicesouthern utah adoptable pets Alice

Alice is a sweet, smart girl who loves to hang out with her people. She loves toys, especially squeaky balls, and Nylabones, and playing tug and fetch. She also enjoys going for walks and showing off on the agility course. On car rides, Alice prefers to ride in the passenger seat and paws at the driver for petting the entire time! She is very food motivated and relishes solving food puzzles and working on frozen Kongs. She would love to find a gentle person who will earn her trust and build her confidence. Alice can be picky with her dog friends and would need to meet any dogs before going home with them or be the only dog in her new home. Alice has come a long way from when she first arrived in Dogtown several years ago and was nervous about meeting new people. She now meets people with confidence, although she should meet everyone in the family before she goes home. Once Alice trusts a person she’s super snuggly and affectionate, and she has a generous sponsor who will pay her adoption fee.

Ghostridersouthern utah adoptable pets Ghostrider

Ghostrider is a big hunk of a dog. But while he’s big and tough-looking, he is a big softy at heart. He loves people and is friendly and sweet with every person he meets. Ghostrider’s favorite activities include hanging out in the sun with his toys or lounging around inside with his humans, being a big couch potato. He is a master at cuddling, loves car rides, walks, and going out for adventures. Ghostrider would do best in a home where he’ll get lots of love and attention because he tends to get a little anxious when left alone. On his leash, he will pull when he sees wildlife, so he’ll need a strong person to walk him or live in an environment without lots of wildlife. At home, he’ll need a yard with a secure fence. Although he can have doggie friends, he would do best as the king of a castle with no other animals. Once you meet him, you will only have eyes for him anyway!

Rackosouthern utah adoptable pets Racko

Racko is extremely intelligent. He loves his training sessions and learning new things. He is a master at fun doggie sports, including agility and treibball, and he knows quite a few tricks. He is also very active and always up for an adventure. Born in 2014, Racko is loving and sweet. He’s a dog who really appreciates snuggles and belly rubs. He will crawl right in your lap for love and attention. Racko is crate trained and walks very well on a leash. Racko also loves riding in the car. Racko is a very fun boy to be around and can definitely liven up a room or your whole home.

Paytrixsouthern utah adoptable pets Paytrix

Ready to walk! Paytrix will run to greet you hoping you will take him out on a walk. He LOVES putting on his collar and leash and going on an adventure. Paytrix is such a smart guy he has trained his caregivers to “trick or treat” to other cat buildings where the caregivers will open the door and offer up treats. He is willing to share, though, if you like Temptations. Born in 2010, he came from a Texas rescue group. Paytrix has an old pelvis fracture and walks a little funny because of this. Despite his challenge, his very presence can bring sunshine to anyone’s day. Could you be his special someone? Contact our adoption team today for more information on this charming cat.

Beckettsouthern utah adoptable pets Beckett

Beckett is very shy and cautious around people, and mostly keeps to himself when it comes to other cats. Born in 2013, he came from a Utah shelter. Beckett tends to hide in new situations or sit so very still that you don’t even notice him. He is in good health and always uses the litter box. Beckett’s hoping to find a home with quiet people who have a lot of patience.

Maisiesouthern utah adoptable pets Maisie

This pretty girl is a quiet, somewhat shy kitty. Maisie came from an animal rescue group in New York that was forced to close their facility. Here at the Sanctuary, she is most often found hanging out with her two besties Crosby and Spatz. If approached slowly when she is safe with her friends she will sometimes allow gentle pets. She also enjoys treats and a cozy basket. If you enjoy quiet days reading a book or simply hanging out at home, and have quiet gentle cats that would befriend Maisie, she would be very content to join your family.

Browniesouthern utah adoptable pets Brownie

Brownie is an adorable, playful 2-3-year-old Miniature Pinscher Mix. He is cautious around people but he wants affection very badly & loves his treats. He is doggie door trained & enjoys roaming his yard or just lying in the sun. Brownie likes the little dog pack at his foster and, although nervous, warms to new people with the proper introduction. Brownie enjoys and plays well with other small dogs and children. He’s not a lap dog yet but, as his fear is replaced by trust, he is getting more comfortable with petting and human contact. Brownie is a sensitive little guy who just needs time, patience, and love.

Lokiaouthern utah adoptable pets Loki

Loki is a perky senior (best guess, 13 years young but who knows?). He loves the great outdoors (whether laying in the sun or sunflowers) but his bed is his favorite place. He enjoys the little dog pack at his foster mama’s (big dogs are ok too) and, although cautious, warms to new people with the proper introduction. He’s not much of a lap dog yet but enjoys petting & treats so he will get more comfortable with patience and love. Bonus: He’s trained to a doggie door! Loki can become your best friend and constant companion if given the chance.

Bustersouthern utah adoptable pets Buster

Buster is a sweet 13-year-old cat. His owner had to surrender him due to travel. He has cataracts that have caused blindness. This does not stop him from being able to love. Won’t you open your heart to this cuddly senior?

Cerasouthern utah adoptable pets Cera

Cera is one year old. She can be playful and then want to cuddle. She loves basking in the sun. She is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Tommysouthern utah adoptable pets Tommy

Not only is Tommy a handsome young man, but he is also a very calm and sweet companion! Tommy would love a human to share his gentle personality with. He likely didn’t get the close bond he needed as a pup and is ready to settle in and share some smiles. Tommy is crate trained potty trained, and an extremely well-behaved house dog. He is still getting comfortable with family life so he would prefer a quiet household. If he is not your sole companion, he would prefer mature children and a female dog (cats unknown). Tommy enjoys his walks or hikes, walks well on a leash, and rides well in the car. He is estimated to be about 2 years old, is 47 lbs., has all of his vaccinations, and is chipped and neutered. If interested, please call his foster mom at (858) 531-8919.

Domsouthern utah adoptable pets DOM

Dom is the most lovable puppy-dog-eyed Beagle/Bassett Hound blend you’ll ever meet. This low-rider came to live at That BAM Place while suffering from Cherry Eye (it doesn’t look great but is mostly cosmetic) but that is being corrected and, after that, he’ll be ready for his new family. Dom has clearly lived in a home before and has pretty impressive manners (although he does get up on BAM’s sofa and is still working on the dog door). Though Dom doesn’t bay like a hound, he has a bit of separation anxiety at the adoption center when he has to be put in his kennel while other dogs are out. This would likely be different in a home environment and we do offer trial placements to make sure he is right for you and your home. Dom does not do well with young children. Although Dom gets along with the wide variety of dogs they have in residence with him (often napping with the smallest 6-pound dog), he would enjoy being an only dog as he prefers to be with people over dogs if given the choice. To find out more about Dom or arrange a meeting with him, contact Julie at (435) 773-5209 by texting or calling. His adoption fee is $125.

Sabrinasouthern utah adoptable pets Sabrina

After being hit by a car, little Sabrina spent 8 weeks in a cast while her bones healed. She’s 10 years old but loves to adventure by car, trail, or river. Snuggles are her favorite, but she’s not a couch potato. Sabrina lives with several big dogs and enjoys their company. Never once have they heard her bark. Sabrina would be great in any home but, even with her cast off, she will still need tender care until her bones are strong. Sabrina does require daily medication for an enlarged heart but nothing stops this little dog from living life to its fullest. They are still working on house training, but the process is slow due to her broken bones. Sabrina sleeps through the night without urinating and does not urinate on the carpet but will on tile. Her cast may be at fault, and now with it removed, she’ll be more agile and move more easily. To meet Sabrina or find out more about her, contact Andrea or A.J. at (612) 756-2374. Sabrina’s adoption fee is $100 and she is also eligible for their Seniors Helping Seniors Program.

Missysouthern utah adoptable pets MISSY

Missy is a gorgeous blue Cane Corso/Pit blend who was very reserved when she first joined BAM but has begun to come out of her shell in foster care. They are sure this means that an adoptive home would get to see even more of her personality shine. Missy would love a person or family that she didn’t have to share with another dog. However, it may just be that she prefers to be the only girl dog in the home, so if you have a male dog and would like to introduce them, BAM can facilitate that. Missy might look tough but deep down she is just a softy that loves to give kisses and cuddles. She also loves to go on walks and car rides and gets a little sad when you leave her behind. She is very choosy on who her furry house companions are because she likes a lot of love so she does best being the only dog. However, she doesn’t mind other dogs visiting. Missy is 100% potty trained and would be best with older children because she needs a quiet environment. She is a wonderful dog who will be a great addition to someone’s family. Missy is a medium dog with a lot of muscle, so she would be a good exercise companion and it would help her stay fit too. To find out more about Missy text or call Julie at (435) 773-5209. Missy’s adoption fee is $125.
