Domingo
Domingo spent part of his life in a dog-training program in a prison. He is very smart, and knows over two dozen visual and verbal cues. Extremely obedient, Domingo loves to perform for his people. He is a high-energy guy, and cannot live with cats or small dogs. His caregivers are working on introducing him to a few dogs his size, and he may be able to live with one in the future. Domingo was born in 2010 and came from a humane society in Washington State. He has some anxiety and an old leg injury from chasing balls. A handsome, friendly guy, Domingo can’t wait to start a new life with a person of his very own. Don’t live near us? You’re in luck!? Domingo has a very generous supporter willing to pay to have him flown to his new home, anywhere in the US or Canada. As part of our Single* pets adoption special, Domingo also qualifies for free adoption! *Single pets do best as the only pet in the home.
Pilsner
Pilsner couldn’t be more excited about life. He’s a playful and energetic guy who likes to stay active and learn new things. Born in 2014, his tail is always wagging and his body is always wiggling. He loves to play fetch with his football, to go for walks and to be read to. Most of all he loves to be by his person’s side. In warmer months, you can almost always find him playing in his kiddie pool. His antics are sure to keep you smiling! He’d be the perfect companion for an active person seeking an adventure partner. *Pilsner’s adoption fees are sponsored by a generous donor.
Isabel
It’s easy to fall in love with Isabel. She’s a real sweetheart who bonds closely with other dogs and with people. Isabel had knee surgery after she came to the Sanctuary, but she’s since recovered and has become a rock star at agility. She loves her walks and has great leash manners. Isabel was born in 2014 and has anxiety. She doesn’t like it when people leave her, and she can be jumpy and mouthy when she senses they are about to go. She would do best in a home with someone who has a lot of time and patience to give her, and where there are no small dogs or cats. Once she settles in and feels safe, some of her anxiety will likely fade. All she wants is someone who will be there for her for life.
Monty
Monty is a handsome guy with striking eyes. He is sweet and friendly. He enjoys being brushed and likes to play with toys, especially dangling toys. He was born in 2010 and came from an animal shelter in California. We don’t know why, but Monty only has three-quarters of a tail. This handsome guy would love to come home with you so you can brush him and play with him. Monty is a Caturtle, also known as a shy cat who comes out of their shell in a home.
Britney
Britney came all the way from Saudi Arabia to find her forever home! This beautiful dilute tortie is sweet and sassy- one minute she’s rubbing against your legs, the next she’s swatting! But through speaking softly and moving slowly you can earn her trust, then she just melts in your lap or in your arms. Britney can be picky about her kitty friends but she’s okay as long as they know that she’s the boss! Will you meet her halfway and consider adding this feisty lady to your home?
Prism
Indeed, this chatty cat is colorful and multi-faceted. One minute bossy and overbearing, the next minute, she’s affectionate, charming, and eager to love. With humans as well as with other felines, all goes well-provided Prism is calling the shots (or at least thinks she is.) This charismatic cutie probably knows she’s adorable. But there’s just one thing that hurts Prism’s self-esteem a little: She is incontinent and experiences some mobility issues due to severe Manx Syndrome, a condition that requires daily care and medication. Born in 2012, she could easily live a long, healthy life with good care, but she needs a very special person willing to let her be their princess.

Buddy
Buddy is a 2-year-old border collie. He is super sweet and loves to be petted and loved on. He loves playing with other dogs and puppies and is definitely a people pleaser. He will do just about anything for a treat, but probably needs someone who will take him for walks to counteract all the treats!
Tootsie
Tootsie is a 3-year-old terrier mix. She’s a sweet dog who is pretty nervous in her new surroundings. She really wants a home that will help her feel safe and secure and help her confidence grow. Could you be the home for this sweet girl, Tootsie?
Jewel and Snowberry
Buddies. These sweet girls are looking for someone to love. They are house-trained and would love to be in a home together. Go meet Jewel and Snowberry (see below)!
Snowberry

Ollie
He is a pit bull terrier mix and is approximately 3 years old. Ollie is extremely shy but is a very sweet guy. There’s a good chance his personality will blossom once he’s in a loving home. He walks well on a leash and kennels easily. He seems to get along with other dogs and would make a great addition to a quiet home. Ollie does have a heart murmur and will likely require annual vet check-ups. His adoption fee: $60.

Sweetie
Sweetie is a 10-year-old Schnauzer/Terrier mix. She is just like her name, sweet, and still has a lot of love to give someone special. Sweetie is a happy girl even though her owner recently passed away. Her adoption fee is $75.
Jameson
Ten-month-old Jameson is a Lab Mix who has all the wonderful lab qualities. He’s lovable, loyal, playful, loves water, hikes, walks, and adores his humans. This guy will make a wonderful family member. His adoption fee is $125.
Shelbie
Shelbie is a real beauty. She is a 6-month-old long hair Snowshoe, loves being brushed, and is playful. She is sometimes a little rough, not good for young kids but is good with cats and dogs. This pretty girl has a malformed eye that keeps her a little shy but doesn’t let it dampen her friendliness and desire for cuddles!
Anna
Anna is an incredibly loving, social cat. She’ll follow you from room to room just for companionship. She’s the perfect lap cat and won’t miss a chance at a morning cat scan on your belly. Gentle and patient with small children and doesn’t mind other cats. Her adoption fee is $75.
Rose’
Rose’ is such a beautiful Tabby! She was one of PAWS mama cats this spring but she’s ready to find her own home now. She is approximately 1 year old. Rose’ is loving, playful, and sweet. Her adoption fee is $75.

Tommy
Not only is Tommy a handsome young man, but he is also a very calm and sweet companion! Tommy would love a human to share his gentle personality with. He likely didn’t get the close bond he needed as a pup and is ready to settle in and share some smiles. Tommy is crate-trained potty trained, and an extremely well-behaved house dog. He is still getting comfortable with family life so he would prefer a quiet household. If he is not your sole companion, he would prefer mature children and a female dog (cats unknown). Tommy enjoys his walks or hikes, walks well on a leash, and rides well in the car. He is estimated to be about 2 years old, is 47 lbs., has all of his vaccinations, and is chipped and neutered. If interested, please call his foster mom at (858) 531-8919.
Dom
Dom is the most lovable puppy-dog-eyed Beagle/Bassett Hound blend you’ll ever meet. This low-rider came to live at That BAM Place while suffering from Cherry Eye (it doesn’t look great but is mostly cosmetic) but that is being corrected and, after that, he’ll be ready for his new family. Dom has clearly lived in a home before and has pretty impressive manners (although he does get up on BAM’s sofa and is still working on the dog door). Though Dom doesn’t bay like a hound, he has a bit of separation anxiety at the adoption center when he has to be put in his kennel while other dogs are out. This would likely be different in a home environment and we do offer trial placements to make sure he is right for you and your home. Dom does not do well with young children. Although Dom gets along with the wide variety of dogs they have in residence with him (often napping with the smallest 6-pound dog), he would enjoy being an only dog as he prefers to be with people over dogs if given the choice. To find out more about Dom or arrange a meeting with him, contact Julie at (435) 773-5209 by texting or calling. His adoption fee is $125.
Sabrina
After being hit by a car, little Sabrina spent 8 weeks in a cast while her bones healed. She’s 10 years old but loves to adventure by car, trail, or river. Snuggles are her favorite, but she’s not a couch potato. Sabrina lives with several big dogs and enjoys their company. Never once have they heard her bark. Sabrina would be great in any home but, even with her cast off, she will still need tender care until her bones are strong. Sabrina does require daily medication for an enlarged heart but nothing stops this little dog from living life to its fullest. They are still working on house training, but the process is slow due to her broken bones. Sabrina sleeps through the night without urinating and does not urinate on the carpet but will on tile. Her cast may be at fault, and now with it removed, she’ll be more agile and move more easily. To meet Sabrina or find out more about her, contact Andrea or A.J. at (612) 756-2374. Sabrina’s adoption fee is $100 and she is also eligible for their Seniors Helping Seniors Program.
Missy
Missy is a gorgeous blue Cane Corso/Pit blend who was very reserved when she first joined BAM but has begun to come out of her shell in foster care. They are sure this means that an adoptive home would get to see even more of her personality shine. Missy would love a person or family that she didn’t have to share with another dog. However, it may just be that she prefers to be the only girl dog in the home, so if you have a male dog and would like to introduce them, BAM can facilitate that. Missy might look tough but deep down she is just a softy that loves to give kisses and cuddles. She also loves to go on walks and car rides and gets a little sad when you leave her behind. She is very choosy on who her furry house companions are because she likes a lot of love so she does best being the only dog. However, she doesn’t mind other dogs visiting. Missy is 100% potty trained and would be best with older children because she needs a quiet environment. She is a wonderful dog who will be a great addition to someone’s family. Missy is a medium dog with a lot of muscle, so she would be a good exercise companion and it would help her stay fit too. To find out more about Missy text or call Julie at (435) 773-5209. Missy’s adoption fee is $125.
