It’s A Christmas Gingerbread Parade ~ of Homes!
St. George, Utah – The St. George Gingerbread Parade kicks off Nov 30 and continues through Saturday, Dec 12, ending with the Holiday Market at Ancestor Square, 2 West St George Blvd, St. George, UT from 1–4 PM.
This is a free, family, and kid-friendly community event.
During the tour, Nov 30 – Dec 12, fourteen participating businesses will showcase uniquely crafted gingerbread “houses” or gingerbread creations. Visitors may cast votes for their favorite creation for a chance to win in-store prizes. The gingerbread houses will remain at the area businesses for the full two weeks. Visitors need to see them during regular business hours of each location. Please be respectful as they will still be conducting business during the tour. This year we are bringing back the stamp cards. So when you visit each of the gingerbread house locations, collect a stamp from each stop and bring your completed stamp cards to the Holiday Market at Ancestor Square (Dec 12, 1–4 PM) for a Kid-Friendly Prize. We have enough prizes for the first 100 children to turn in their completed stamp cards. You may pick up a blank stamp card from the St George Children’s Museum.
The parade tour and entry to the Holiday Market are free and exciting for all ages.
Our mission: Promote community and Christmas Spirit with the annual Gingerbread Parade; Encourage buy local and support local businesses; Raise funds for the St George Children’s Museum.
About St George Gingerbread House Parade
The St. George Gingerbread House Parade was founded in 2019. The origins date back to 2012 when local business McArthur Jewelers hosted the then Gingerbread House Tour for the historic downtown St George businesses along Main Street. The organizers have switched hands over the years, and in 2019, local resident, Melissa Daams, founded the organization after learning it wasn’t going to be organized that year. Her goal is to bring together area businesses, benefit a local nonprofit, and create an idyllic family and community Christmas experience.
