Bravo
Don’t let that stern expression fool you, Bravo is a sweet, lovable, cuddle bug! Be prepared for him to snuggle up next to you on the couch. Up for any adventure, he loves car rides, long walks, and hikes in the park. This smarty-pants already knows many commands including sit, stay, wait, lay down, come, drop, and leave it. Bravo is a fast learner who would love to be challenged with new commands or fun games. He will thrive in a home where he can stretch his legs and get plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Bravo has had a rough past and it takes time to build a relationship with him, but he is fiercely loyal once you have earned his trust. He can be protective at times and prefers to be handled only by his closest friends but will always look to you for guidance. Bravo would prefer to be the only animal in the home as he is not yet comfortable around other dogs. If you are looking for a loving and loyal companion, then ask us about adding Bravo to your family!

This big guy comes with a big heart and is ready to put it to use with a family of his own.

Jewel
Jewel is a young female Great Pyrenees. She and her sister, Gemma, were found as strays. Like her sister, she is friendly, quiet, a gentle giant like a typical Pyrenees. She would be good in a home with other dogs, children, or alone.

Phoenix
Phoenix is the funniest and sweetest girl. She can be standoffish at first but warms up in minutes. She has pretty bad hip dysplasia but that doesn’t slow her down. She plays with the other dogs in the house from sun up to sundown. She can go up and down the stairs and uses a dog door pretty well. She is definitely a velcro dog but does fine when left alone. She is still a puppy so she does try to get into things. Overall, she is really a great dog. She is potty trained, does well in a crate, good with dogs and people, and gets around really well on her own. She definitely comes with challenges due to her hips but she is a great dog and would be a good fit with almost any kind of family.
Karl
Karl is a very loveable, chill cat. He enjoys sunny spots by the window so he can watch the wildlife. If you just like to hang out, this guy is for you. Karl is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Jackie

Elsa, Jubilee, and Misha
MEET THE PUPPIES
- Tiny Elsa and Misha came to us from the reservation and we have no idea what sort of girl she’ll grow up to be. All we know is she’s adorable now and very well socialized!
- Meet baby Jubilee! She’s only about 2-1/2 months old and cute as a button! She may be a mix between border collie and pit bull but no one knows for sure. She already knows how to use the doggie door and is learning to go outside to potty! Jubilee loves playing with kids, toys, other dogs and even cats! Her favorite thing to do, however, is snuggle. She’s smart and lovable and will soon be learning lots of tricks and how to walk on a leash.
These puppies are available LOCALLY ONLY as foster to adopt. Once she has been spayed, the adoption can be finalized and she will be yours forever and ever!
Jacob
Poor little Jacob was hit by a car and ended up losing a large chunk of his tail which feels better and is now a cute little nub. He’s a shy, sweet boy who only wants someone he can love and trust to keep him safe. We aren’t sure what breeds he has in him but there’s probably a bunch! He’s long and lean with legs like a basset hound but his head is more like a terrier that’s what we at BAM call a one-of-a-kind perfect blend!
Ace
Ace is a happy, big old pup who has no idea he’s ever been injured, has recently had major surgery, and definitely doesn’t’ know that he’s supposed to have been calm and quiet while recuperating. His vet is amazed at just how well he has done so quickly!
Ace has a lot of energy and will need an active home. He would love to have a nice big yard to play in, along with regular and increasing exercise to strengthen his leg. In a few months, he’ll likely want to go on hikes and long walks. In the meantime, he loves affection and he loves to play! If he has toys and balls, he can entertain himself for long periods of time. He’d love you to throw the ball, but if you’re not available, he’s perfectly capable of throwing it for himself!! He needs to learn some manners but he is a bright boy and will learn quickly. He does tend to be toy possessive so some supervision will be needed with his doggy playmates.
Ace is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and ready to go to his forever home today!!! He will need an adopter with patience and one who is willing to care for him if his leg causes him issues in the future.
To find out more about Ace, meet him and see if he’s a match for you, text, or call Julie at (435) 773-5209.
Barry
Barry is not a lap dog (unless he decides he wants to be). Instead, he is a grumpy boy who came to us with a broken pelvis which still causes him pain. In the year he’s been with us, Barry also suffered seizures and kidney stones. He’s on a special diet and medication for all of these things, but he’s still a grump. And we all still love him!
Since being in our care, the poor guy has had to deal with puppies and big dogs who don’t understand why he doesn’t want to roughhouse. He does get along with dogs who aren’t in his face and likes to fetch a ball as long as you don’t try to take it back from him (Barry’s rules).
Ornery as he is, Barry is kind of our mascot and we want the old guy to catch a break and live out the remainder of his life with someone he can find solace in.
Barry loves to rub his back on the floor and wiggle and loves to have belly rubs by a person of his choosing. He enjoys certain members of our team while others simply aren’t his cup of tea.
To find out more about Barry, meet him and see if he’s a match for you, text, or call Julie at (435) 773-5209.
Aayla
Sweetheart Aayla is a six-year-old bulldog mix who loves being with people, riding in the car, going on walks, and being the center of attention. She is housebroken and kennel trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations.
Aayla has been an only dog and may do best in a home without other pets. Then again, she may be fine with other animals. In any case, she should be introduced to any potential siblings prior to adoption.
Titan and Keeva
Meet this bonded pair: Titan (95 lb Male, 6 yrs) and Keeva (60 lb Female, 5 yrs). Keeva was 8 wks old when she met her big brother and they are tightly bonded. They were their mom and dad’s only children and did everything together: mountain camping, hiking, car rides, playing in streams, strolling the neighborhood. They are primarily house pets but obviously love being active in the outdoors and using their doggy door to explore the yard.
The family has now expanded with an infant and a toddler. Managing two full-time jobs and the babies has added stress and put a strain on the time and care mom and dad can spend with them. The dogs feel the difference and are longing for their pre-baby life back. Mom and Dad’s hearts are broken but feel it is only fair to find the perfect, active family for these two to get their show back on the road.
With the proper introduction, they are good with children and all animals, including cats. If children, 10 or older would be preferable so these dogs can get the attention they need. Huskies need to be part of the pack. They are not happy to be an outdoor pet that is not part of the family. With a little daily exercise and a home of their own, they make absolutely wonderful pets.
To learn more, please call Debbie at 858-531-8919. PLEASE, DO NOT CONTACT BECAUSE ANIMALS MATTER – THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING ONLY – THANK YOU
