Billy
Billy is such a handsome affectionate boy! With his wrinkly forehead and his perky ears, you won’t be able to get enough of this goofball! Billy loves to bring his toys to people and is happy to throw them in the air by himself. He is calm in the car and loves to go on hikes. His DNA test revealed that he’s 50% Boxer and 50% American Pit Bull Terrier. Billy can be a great exercise partner, but can also be a nice cuddle buddy! Billy would do best living with only an adult family.
Titus
Looking for a big, happy pooch to hang out with at home or on the road? Titus is ready to meet you! He loves tossing around his toys and hiking the trails as well as learning and doing and showing off his many tricks! He’s a very smart guy and knows what he likes, so give him a task and a scent to follow and he’ll be in seventh heaven! When he’s satisfied he’s done all he wants to do he loves basking in the sun or relaxing with a snack. Reach out to our adoptions team to learn more about this handsome guy.
Fiesta
Fiesta is a happy little girl who is so full of excitement she can’t stop wiggling. She is called “Princess Fifi” and is kind of a superstar at the sanctuary. She loves riding on the golf cart and visiting all of her friends and greeting everyone with kisses and cuddles. Although she is a senior girl, she still has a lot of spunk and likes to show off her happy zoomies when she gets treats. Fiesta walks great on leash and is very calm and polite around other dogs, but she would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She has some special medical needs, so please reach out to the adoptions team to get more information and consider making this wonderful girl part of your family.
Brownie
Brownie mostly stays away from people. He was born around 2007 and came from a hoarding situation, so he hasn’t been properly socialized. He’s even intimidated by other cats, preferring the company of shy, sweet females who don’t challenge him. Although he’s so shy, Brownie has the potential to like people. He would do well in a home where he was given the time, space, and patience to come out of his shell.
Persephone
Persephone is a bit shy around people. She needs a home where she can take her time getting settled in and learning to trust. She loves cats and gets along well with most of them. She is very food motivated and will come running to you if you’ve got treats.
Persephone is a sweet, sensitive girl who is full of potential. She is very small and often gets mistaken for a kitten! She’s looking for a home filled with patience and love, and lots of treats to help her feel comfortable and loved.
Lizzie
Lizzie is a friendly girl looking for a heart to win. Her ideal home would have plenty of love to give, lots of comfy beds to sleep on, and wouldn’t mind giving her rides on their shoulders from time to time. Lizzie can coexist well with other cats, though she wouldn’t mind all of your attention to herself either. This girl is the ideal blend of affectionate and independent – every kitty lover’s dream! Contact our adoptions team today if you think Lizzie could be your perfect match.

Littermates Chewy, Curry, Zuma
Chewy is a little fluffball. He’s very social and loves to play with everyone.
Spicy baby Curry is a total character and will keep you on your toes with his silliness. He and his littermates are happy, frisky and well socialized.
Puffy Zuma plays well with the other puppies and loves to go upside down for a tummy rub!
Chewy, Curry, and Zuma are available LOCALLY ONLY as foster to adopt. Once spayed/neutered, the adoption can be finalized and their adorableness will be all yours forever and ever!
Barry
Barry is not a lap dog (unless he decides he wants to be). Instead, he is a grumpy boy who came to us with a broken pelvis which still causes him pain. In the year he’s been with us, Barry also suffered seizures and kidney stones. He’s on a special diet and medication for all of these things, but he’s still a grump. And we all still love him!
Since being in our care, the poor guy has had to deal with puppies and big dogs who don’t understand why he doesn’t want to roughhouse. He does get along with dogs who aren’t in his face and likes to fetch a ball as long as you don’t try to take it back from him (Barry’s rules).
Ornery as he is, Barry is kind of our mascot and we want the old guy to catch a break and live out the remainder of his life with someone he can find solace in.
Barry loves to rub his back on the floor and wiggle and loves to have belly rubs by a person of his choosing. He enjoys certain members of our team while others simply aren’t his cup of tea.
Dottie
Dottie is such a sweet girl! She’s smart, house trained, knows the doggy door, playful, loves toys (especially the squeaky kind), is good with other dogs, and loves people, especially the petting part! Dottie is a calm pup and a great walker! And even though her foster has a whole lot of other hungry pups wanting treats, Dottie waits patiently until it’s her turn to get one.
Dottie is available as foster to adopt until she has been spayed. Then the adoption can be finalized and she will be all yours forever and ever!
Quincy
Tiny Quincy is four to five years old and sweet as can be. He was a bit underweight when he came to BAM but is now up to a whopping 6 pounds!!! He loves his treats, his people but most of all his toys: Quincy plays fetch with a small ball or squeaky toy. He is crate trained but is happiest being with his person. He is comfortable with other dogs (and cats) and plays well with dogs his own size.
Quincy is available LOCALLY ONLY as foster to adopt. Once he gets his dental and is neutered, the adoption will be completed and he’ll be all yours!
Roxy
Roxy needs a playmate! This girl is so affectionate, full of life, and smart, smart, smart!!! She wants nothing more than get outside and play ball, tug, you name it–she just wants to play!
Unfortunately, life changes didn’t allow pretty Roxy to stay with her family and she has to be re-homed. She’s a wonderful girl (did we mention that she’s smart?) who needs someone with an active lifestyle and time to help develop her mind. She would probably be a great agility dog, frisbee fetcher, and/or running/hiking partner. And once she’s worn you out, she’ll snuggle up to you on the couch for cuddles and cookies. (Exercise and cookies- you can’t lose!) And can you imagine gazing into those gorgeous eyes every day?
Mikko
“Mikko” (pronounced Mick O), Hebrew for God, is a lovely gentleman who enjoys short walks and hanging out with other dogs, especially little ones. He’s an absolute lover boy and bonds quickly with everyone
Mikko will be having a mass removed from his leg soon and will be available for adoption once it’s done. He’s neutered, microchipped, housebroken, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and ready to move to his new forever home.
