She walks very well on a leash and when she gets extra excited, she loves to jump up and give gentle hugs.

Brody
Brody is a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix. He was adopted from us as a puppy and just returned as he no longer fits the previous adopter’s lifestyle. He is family-oriented, loves to run and play, is house trained, and uses a dog door. He’s very responsive to commands. Brody is good indoors or in a fenced backyard. He does have initial shyness with new dogs but warms up quickly. He actually prefers being around a smaller dog as he was raised with a chihuahua since he was a puppy. Brody is currently in a foster home and can’t wait to find his forever home with an active and loyal family.
Copper
Copper is a handsome young cat who is part of a magical trio that includes sister Adelaide and brother Merlin (adopted). He is very shy and needs someone to continue showing him love and patience so his enchanting personality will progress. Copper is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.
Adelaide
This darling young cat is no illusion. Adelaide will provide lots of entertainment for you but needs her adopter to have patience. She’s still a little shy. Adelaide is an independent cat but does enjoy having her head scratched. Adelaide is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.
Lloyd
Lloyd has cheeks every grandmother dreams of – chubby cheeks you can pinch. He has soooo much love to offer. He enjoys his can food and loves to be groomed. Due to his age (senior) and health, the vet has recommended that he not be neutered. He needs to be on special kidney food. Lloyd deserves a loving home and someone to hang out with. He is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.
Addie
Addie is ready to find a home where she will be loved and cared for. She’s been a good mama and is ready to be on her own now. She is a very loving cat. Adopt Addie and you will be rewarded with purrs and snuggles. Addie is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Ruby’s Puppies
Meet the puppies! Nine beautiful puppies were born to Ruby right here at That BAM Place. Available LOCALLY ONLY starting November 14 as foster to adopt (once spayed/neutered, the adoption will be complete), these puppies are cuddly and energetic, and adorable, and come in a wide variety of colors and markings.
Sherlock and Koko
Sherlock and Koko are adorable, young, energetic little (7 pounds) packages of love!
We think they’ll be least traumatized if adopted together!
Sherlock is a cuddle bug and the less adventurous of the 2 dogs. He’ll follow you everywhere but also loves to play with toys and, especially, with his favorite playmate, Koko (although, as with his foster, both dogs will accept other littles into their playgroup). Sherlock and Koko love mealtime, chews, and treats and are fast eaters (so a slow feeder or separate feeding area may be needed). Both pups are very comfortable in their crate (will frequently go into it voluntarily just to chill) and can be crated together for short periods. Sherlock and Koko are good walkers and ride well in a car. Both dogs are housebroken but Sherlock does mark, a behavior which should disappear over time since he is now neutered. Sherlock and Koko are good with other small dogs and cats but large dogs or small children are not recommended.
Cassia
Cassia (pronounced ka-shee-uh) is a cinnamon spice that fits her coloring and personality. She is adventurous and brave and, most of all, determined! Even for being so little, she still looks at two flights of stairs as a challenge and she’s growing to love the doggie pool. She plays hard, then gives a sweet look saying she’s ready to curl up on your chest and fall asleep. She loves to be snuggled.
Cassia is a puppy and loves to chew. Be prepared to keep toys and turkey tendons around if you value your shoes!
Cassia is available LOCALLY ONLY as a foster to adopt. Once she has been spayed, the adoption will be completed and she’ll be all yours! Meanwhile, we’re already accepting applications.
Mocha
If you’re looking for a puppy but don’t want to deal with all the “puppy-ness” and “puppy-mess,” look no further! Adopt Mocha and get the best of both worlds! He’s still just a baby (under a year old) but 100% potty trained and crate trained! He’s an expert on leash, a perfect gentleman in the car, and loves every person and dog he’s ever met.
Mocha is a mixed breed pup who looks like a chocolate lab, shepherd, Staffordshire mix but who really knows!? His ears have a life of their own and get a bit goofier every day!
Mocha is very affectionate and eager to please. He’s also very high-energy and would love to live with another dog who likes to play. He would be the perfect jogging or hiking companion, too!
Mocha is being fostered in Kanab but can travel to meet you if you’re interested in adopting. Just submit a BAM Adoption Application and, if approved, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a meeting. If you don’t hear back within 7 days, please text us at 435-773-5209.
Tango
Tango is a one-year-old purebred Miniature Pinscher. He’s a little shy until he gets to know you but then is very friendly, cuddly, and playful. He’ll even sleep with you! He loves other dogs, was raised with a large boxer and is comfortable with the 3 big dogs at his foster parent’s house. He’s even cat-friendly! He walks well and enjoys car rides.
Tango is vaccinated, neutered, and housebroken. He’s a bit overweight and will benefit from being kept on a healthy regimen of exercise and appropriate food.
Stella
For pitties sake! Really–no interest in this beautiful girl? How can that be? Stella is a wonderful, kind girl looking for love. At five to six years, she had very likely never experienced it before coming to BAM and every day she shows us her gratitude and affection. She’s finally figured out that people want to love her…and we all do! Stella e is so ready to start a new chapter in her life now with nothing but love in store.
Stella was so gentle when she played with her puppies but now they’ve all gone to their forever homes leaving her alone and lonely. She really wants someone to hold her close and play tug with her.
Gentle as she is, she had occasionally acted very protective of her puppies when other dogs or kids were nearby. For that reason, she may do best as a solo dog with no kids (or maybe ok with older, respectful kids), and, we assume, no cats.
