Halpert
Doesn’t Halpert look like a teddy bear? No one can resist his puppy dog eyes and scruffy fluffy coat. Halpert is a clever boy; he knows how to open doors and is constantly solving problems (So, ummm…. being able to keep the house secure with doors closed tight is important!) He also loves food, playing in the kiddie pool, and entertaining himself with toys – he likes to hide them to discover later! Halpert does take time to trust new people, so a low-traffic adult home where he’s the only dog would be ideal. He just needs your calm patience. But if you can give him that, then he would love to be your teddy bear. Ask about Halpert today!
Gucci
Gucci is that adorable little black senior dog who has had time to learn nice manners and other things like fetch and how to use a doggie door. He is also old enough to have formed some opinions. Since it’s always polite and wise to listen to other opinions we think if you listen to Gucci you will ultimately find him very flexible and responsive! He doesn’t seem to have strong opinions about other small dogs or most people. So, come meet this little guy and form your own opinion!
Domineo
Blaze
Do you want to come to see all my toys?
Blaze is an affectionate, snuggly boy who loves to play with toys and show them off. He is an outing and sleepover favorite with our volunteers and likes to snuggle in bed. Blaze rides nicely in the car, loves to hang out on the couch, and enjoys relaxing in the sunshine inside a fenced yard. Blaze is leash reactive to dogs and is working on training to improve with this. Currently, he would do best in an environment where he doesn’t have to pass a ton of dogs to enjoy his daily walk. Blaze does not react to dogs through a fence though. Please fill out an adoption application and come meet this cuddly teddy bear named Blaze.
Alfred
Alfred is a sensitive boy who will thrive in a home where he can have the time and space to come out of his shell. He may need some time to warm up to unfamiliar faces, but once he’s in a loving home his sweet personality will shine. Will you give this gentle boy a chance?
Aspen
Aspen is a unique lady with big, beautiful eyes and a luscious coat. She is both cautious and curious. She loves to explore, and meet new people and enjoys being a pet. She prefers to be a solitary cat but most of all, Aspen would love a safe place to call her own.
RSQ

Chester
Chester was brought to RSQ after his foot was injured in a trap. He has healed perfectly and is ready to find a furever home, free of traps and full of love. He is potty trained, past the jumping puppy stage, and walks well on a leash. He won’t last long, get your app in for Chester today!
Freeway
Freeway will speed his way right into your heart. He even has a little heart on his forehead to prove it! Freeway loves to fetch, learn new tricks, and have his belly rubbed. He would be good in a home with other dogs or alone. Apply to meet Freeway today!
Creature
When I was first rescued, I was as scary as the Creature from the Black Lagoon! I was very ill with an upper respiratory and malnourished. My fur had even fallen out in some places. RSQ provided loving care and I am no longer scary. Now my fur is silky and beautiful. I love to cuddle and play with cat toys. I also just love to hang out with the lady volunteers. I’m good at entertaining others too, people and kittens. And I’m house-trained. Adopt me and let me entertain you!
Lizzie, Gary, and Ted
Lizzie and siblings Gary and Ted are the cutest trio. These kittens are playfully adorable and will certainly a-mews you. Your home won’t be complete without the pitter-patter of kitty feet and will surely be filled with love, laughter, and friendship. And we’re all house-trained. Make arrangements to come in and meet us today!

Riley
Riley is a 1-year-old male Shepherd mix and is simply gorgeous, fun-loving, sweet, and playful. He loves humans and other dogs. He’s a chill dog who listens well and has nice manners. He is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and neutered, loving and social. He’s waiting to meet you!
Eros
Eros is a 7-year-old Border Collie mix. He is good with other dogs and is an athletic guy. He’s friendly with people and would be a good family dog with older children. He is potty trained. Eros loves being with his humans. Come into PAWS and meet this great dog!
Lady Violet
Lady Violet is a beautiful girl with golden eyes. She is approximately 1 year old and is a sweet cat who loves her people. She will be a great cat for some lucky person because black cats are good luck! Lady V came to PAWS as a mama cat with 6 babies but she is ready to find her home now. Come and meet her this week!
Shira
Shira is a 3-year-old beauty. She is shy at first but loves attention when you give it to her. She would be good in a home with other cats or as an only cat. Shira was a mama last spring and is now ready to find her forever home. Come into PAWS and meet this wonderful cat!

Lilly
Lilly is a sweet 8-year-old lady that enjoys being petted. She loves to go on walks and be with people. She can be a little shy but all she needs is someone who will give her time with them and let her adjust and gain back confidence. She is very mellow but when outside, she loves to run and play, fetch the ball, tug on ropes, and does well on the leash. Her adoption fee is $60.
Spot
We bet this pretty girl caught your eye! Meet Spot, a young 3-month-old and active pup who is ready to find a place to call her own. She is spunky and full of life, which means that she needs someone who can keep her busy. This girl will need continued training and socialization so she can be one of the best canines out there. She is very smart but has not had someone to teach her many basic commands or manners yet.
I will need someone home with me most of the day because I will need to go out and go to the bathroom every 2-3 hours. I sometimes have to go at night, too. I hope you don’t mind if I have to wake you up to take me out. I am still pretty young. A full-time out-of-home worker would not be around enough to take care of me properly (and I would be lonely!). If you are home most of the day and have the time and patience for me, and you want a really cute puppy, I can’t wait to meet you! My adoption fee is $60.
Rocky (*DECLAWED-INDOORS ONLY*)
Like most cats Rocky finds change to be overwhelming so he will need plenty of time and space while he adjusts to his new forever home. When Rocky feels safe he enjoys telling stories to his friends and napping the day away. He has had experience with cats and dogs before and was not a fan of cats or dogs in the home. Rocky isn’t a fan of over-handling so a home with either adults only or older respectful kids might suit him best. Rocky is declawed which means that he will need to remain strictly indoors in order to keep him safe. His adoption fee is $40.
Smudge (*DECLAWED-INDOORS ONLY*)
I just need an understanding heart to get me through the transition to my new family. I would love a very quiet home with an adult or retired person where I can enjoy a relatively predictable lifestyle and where peace and quiet reign. Once I am settled into my new home, you will find that I am a happy and talkative kitty who is very social and loving. I might even do well with one other chill kitty friend. Are you the understanding heart I need? Would you please come to meet me? Though I have lived with other animals and children, I may prefer to be an only pet. I would prefer a quiet home where I will be allowed to adjust at my own pace. I am sweet and sure to be a wonderful friend. I am 11 years old and my adoption fee is $40.
Frieda
Frieda is a truly adorable little short-haired gray tabby kitten approximately 13 weeks old. She is an affectionate, happy, outgoing girl who likes to get into everything. She purrs as soon as you reach out your hand to pet her, and she is getting into this “holding and petting” thing. She is also very loving and one of the first to greet you when you come home. She is very vocal, and has much to say…about anything!! She was found as a stray along with her sister Ginger. Her adoption fee is $40.
Ginger
Ginger is a very special little girl! Ginger is a tad shy, just a little unsure of the new surroundings right now! She was a stray before coming to the shelter, and the time on her own left her with some timidness about strange people and strange surroundings. She is quickly learning to shed this shyness and just be her normal, happy self! You know what would really help her come out of her shell, though…a loving home and family. She came to the shelter with her sister Frieda. She can keep occupied with play mice, track-balls, and wands or can chase whatever you’re sending through the air. Her adoption fee is $40.

Quincy
Although she isn’t doing the full husky howl yet, baby Quincy is already very talkative and she has plenty of important things to say.
Born May 31st, she’s almost … but not quite … house trained. She loves water and would be so happy with an adopter who doesn’t mind snuggling a wet girl! She has fun with dogs of all sizes and even gets along with cats!
Quincy’s going to make a great family dog but her puppy teeth are razor sharp and she likes to bite so she should be fully supervised around kids. She needs lots of chew toys until those big-girl teeth come in.
Quincy will be available on August 4th after her second round of puppy shots but will need to come back to That BAM Place one more time for round three.
Ozzie
Ozzie is a sweet, playful girl who is ready for any adventure. At 3-1/2 years old, she has a lot of energy and loves to play. This girl can occupy herself alone outside but also loves to romp with kids and other dogs. She will always be happy to stop to give you kisses and follow you around admirably.
Ozzie does have a strong prey drive, however, so cats and chickens are not going to be safe with her. She’s an amazing dog that someone gave up on too soon. She is ready for a parent or family to give their love and time to her.
Diamond
Eight-year-old Diamond is a gentle girl who would give anything to be in an easy-going home with someone special who will take her on leisurely walks and activities and smother her with hugs! She adores sitting in the shady grass just being loved on.
The poor girl was rescued from a kill shelter in California and, even though she’s safe now, she’s not a fan of being kenneled and would much prefer sitting on a couch with her humans all day watching soap operas.
Diamond enjoys the company of other dogs and will gently remind those that are too playful to be respectful of her age. She’s not a grumpy old lady though–if you ever want a laugh, just get a toy out and watch her play. She steals everyone’s hearts. She has lots of love in her and just needs someone to share it with.
Biggie, Champ & Natasha
Meet the puppies! Biggie, Champ, and Natasha are feisty girls who love romping with their sisters, playing with toys, and showing off for people. These adorable pups will be available for adoption on September 1st. Meanwhile, come check them out at That BAM Place.
Roxy
Roxy needs a playmate! This girl is so affectionate, full of life, and smart, smart, smart!!! She wants nothing more than get outside and play ball, tug, you name it–she just wants to play!
Unfortunately, life changes didn’t allow pretty Roxy to stay with her family and she has to be re-homed. She’s a wonderful girl (did we mention that she’s smart?) who needs someone with an active lifestyle and time to help develop her mind. She would probably be a great agility dog, frisbee fetcher, and/or running/hiking partner. And once she’s worn you out, she’ll snuggle up to you on the couch for cuddles and cookies. (Exercise and cookies- you can’t lose!) And can you imagine gazing into those gorgeous eyes every day?

Ivory and Isaiah
Ivory is a big, white love bug. She is very laid back and enjoys attention. She makes a great snuggle bunny. Isaiah is her husbun. Ivory’s company has really helped Isaiah come around. He’s learning to trust and enjoy the human volunteers. They are ready for the perfect family to adopt them.
Cameron and Olivia
Cameron is a sweet, spotted boy. He’s not shy with people he trusts. He enjoys escaping his enclosure and running and the rescue any chance he gets. Olivia is a bit more cautious with humans but warms up very quickly. She’s a sweet girl who does well with attention. This sweet pair is looking for their forever family.
Kodey and Savannah
Kodey is also a sweet spotted boy. He’s excited and curious about people. He likes his pets. Savannah is as sassy as she is fluffy. This tiny thing loves to thump at anyone who gives her attention. She likes to act like she’s brave and tough, but really she is just afraid and needs more love. It’s time for them to go to their forever home.
Emma and Alex
Emma and Alex are both young rabbits. They both have lots of energy and need a home that will let them get lots of playtime. Emma is loving and curious. She is excited when you come to their enclosure, especially if you have treats. Alex is nervous with people. He is so sweet but scared of people. He has come a long way since bonding with Emma, but he will need a patient family to earn his trust.
